This was truly one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Horseback riding through the mountains of Mexico City was absolutely breathtaking, and I learned so much along the way. I can honestly say that I now know how to ride a horse and I don’t think I’ll ever be scared of riding again! I’m so incredibly grateful to Aurelio, Luis, Fátima, and everyone else who was involved. They were so kind, welcoming, and patient with us. They made us feel completely at home, like if we were family and turned the whole experience into something so special. The views were incredible, the experience was unforgettable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. I’m leaving with beautiful memories, new knowledge, and so much gratitude. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Mexico City. 🤍🐎⛰️

Wonderful experience for beginners

We had an incredible horseback riding tour! Our guide was exceptionally attentive and patient, especially since my daughter and I didn't have much experience. The horses were very gentle, and we even stopped for a delicious meal. Everything was expertly organized. Highly recommended!

Because of this, the experience is something you become part of. We encourage our guests to be curious, ask questions, interact with the horses, and take the time to understand the people and traditions behind the experience. We share our everyday life with you rather than putting on a performance for you. Punctuality is also important because the experience begins before we even get on the horses. Time at the stables is part of the experience: meeting the horses, preparing them, putting on the saddles, and getting everything ready together. Arriving 30 minutes late, for example, inevitably changes the organization and rhythm of the day. We understand that every traveler experiences things differently, and we truly appreciate your feedback. Our goal is not to offer a conventional tourist attraction, but to create an opportunity for our guests to step into a real family environment, connect with the horses, and experience a small part of local life. Great horseriding experience

Had a great time Luis was an excellent guide and made us feel very welcome. The horses were well trained and gave us a very enjoyable ride even though it was the first time for all of us

Lovely Experience! 11/10

For me, it was an incredible experience, everything went according to plan, the transfer, an amazingly delicate local lunch, and the beautiful Mexican nature in an interesting part of the city. Along the way, you can see gorgeous dense forests, a river, and breathe in the fresh air. The horses were sweet and calm, which suited me well since I'm a complete beginner. Greetings, guys, and hopefully see you again soon. I enjoyed today, it was fun, and I'm taking home a huge experience. Thank you ❤️🦄🐴

Authentic Experience — And They Mean It

Booked the “authentic experience with a Mexican charro family” and got exactly that — emphasis on authentic. Luis picked me up in Condesa right on time and talked charro culture the entire 40-minute drive up the mountain, which I did not know I needed but fully enjoyed. And the barrio itself is a whole different world from central CDMX — a mountain town with the steepest roads I’ve ever seen, fresher air, and a much more relaxed pace. Life just moves differently up there. Arrived at the stables to find a grand total of one horse present, and Aurelio (Luis’s uncle, absolute legend) mid-way through nailing shoes back onto the other one. So my day began with spectator horseshoeing. Ten out of ten, would watch again. Then the actual riding: forest, mountains, and — for reasons I still don’t fully understand — a stretch down a road in real traffic, which the horses handled better than most drivers. Aurelio walked alongside the whole way playing personal photographer with my phone, so I have receipts. We stopped at a tiny mountain restaurant for two kinds of unreasonably good tacos and a beer split three ways. This is more than a ride. You’ll shoe-watch, road-ride, eat like a local, and get toured around like a guest (or whatever is coincidentally on the agenda). Five stars.
