We were absolutely...
We were absolutely thrilled to attend the Exclusive Evening at Schönbrunn Palace: After-Hours Audiotour, Dinner, and Concert. It was a truly unforgettable experience from start to finish, with every moment of the evening feeling magical and immersive. The after-hours audiotour through the palace set a breathtaking tone, and the elegant dinner that followed made the night feel even more special. The concert itself was absolutely captivating, performed in an atmosphere that felt both grand and intimate. My partner, who usually ends up dozing off during concerts, was completely engrossed from beginning to end. Watching him sit in awe throughout the entire performance was a testament to just how exceptional the musicians, the setting, and the overall experience were. We left feeling deeply moved and grateful to have been part of such a beautifully curated and memorable evening.

Just go to the concert, the rest isn’t good value.
Mixed experience. The Schönbrunn Palace tour was advertised as an hour but we were finished in 25 minutes having listened to the entire audio guide. Our ‘guide’ then left us at the entrance to the restaurant and informed us that we should find our own way to the concert after the meal. The meal itself was ok but not memorable, service was excellent though. The concert itself was good.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the concert and that you were satisfied with the service at the restaurant. Regarding the Palace tour, it usually takes around 40 minutes, but the time can vary depending on the group and how quickly guests go through the rooms. Our staff accompanies guests to the palace and then to the restaurant. After the dinner, guests make their own way to the Orangery for the concert. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the three-course dinner. If you would like to tell us a little more about what you did not like about the dinner, we would be happy to hear your feedback. Greetings from the Schönbrunn Palace Concerts Team 🎶

Don’t book unless you like the opera
I was disappointed that half of the concert was opera singing. It should be advertised as such. I would have never booked it if I had known that!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your valuable feedback, could you maybe clarify what your expectations were before attending the concert? Thanks!

Tour and dinner not worth the money
Palace tour and dinner were awful and not worth the money. Tour was disorganized, under repair and overall underwhelming. Only 1 selection for dinner - beef and it was awful. Veg alternative was inedible and up-charge for water. Concert was good.

Could not locate origin point. Very stressful
Dinner was terrible. Did not know the choices were limited. Fixed menu was not good. Would have gladly paid additional to get decent food

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Exclusive Evening at Schönbrunn Palace: After-Hours Audiotour, Dinner, Concert: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vienna.
How much does Exclusive Evening at Schönbrunn Palace: After-Hours Audiotour, Dinner, Concert cost?
+
Prices start at $147 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vienna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Exclusive Evening at Schönbrunn Palace: After-Hours Audiotour, Dinner, Concert take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vienna is not rushed.
Is Exclusive Evening at Schönbrunn Palace: After-Hours Audiotour, Dinner, Concert worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 937 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Vienna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Exclusive Evening at Schönbrunn Palace: After-Hours Audiotour, Dinner, Concert?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Exclusive Evening at Schönbrunn Palace: After-Hours Audiotour, Dinner, Concert suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Exclusive Evening at Schönbrunn Palace: After-Hours Audiotour, Dinner, Concert?
+
Around 328 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vienna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vienna and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Exclusive Evening at Schönbrunn Palace: After-Hours Audiotour, Dinner, Concert start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vienna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Vienna?
+
On Outty we rank every Vienna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Authentic Vienna Food Tour inc. lunch, street food, 3 drinks, Vienna Food Tour: Coffeehouses, Markets, Lunch & Street Food, Budapest Small-Group Day Trip from Vienna. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Vienna?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vienna?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
