About this experience
Perfect for lovers of architecture and discover Singapore through the lens of art and architecture. Starting at Blair Plain conservation area, we explore a compact area of historical shophouses and terrace houses of vastly different architectural styles and reflect on the eclectic mix of Chinese, Malay and European design elements. Next we’ll explore a local residential neighbourhood where brutalist public housing overflows with laundry and potted plants from the windows. Along the way, you will spot a Art Deco former train station on the way and we’ll discuss the style and impact it has for the city. We will end our architecture walking tour at the glass and concrete towers of the Central Business District. You will learn about Oasia Hotel, a tropical "living tower" which is a prototype of sustainable design in the tropics, reflecting the modern architecture of the city.

Train to eat and shop like a local!
Tour guide was nice, energetic, and very informative! We were able to find a lot of good places to eat and shop near the city center of Singapore. She also made the tour engaging by having us answer some trivia questions with prizes that prove useful under the hot Singapore sun.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking time out to share your thoughts, it's really appreciated! We're grateful for the energy and also that you learnt more about the neighbourhood on this tour!

Amazing Architecture Tour in Singapore
My son and I just had an amazing Art-itecture tour with Kelvin. The private tour was really special and Kelvin and took us on a very thoughtful tour with loads of good information and interesting stories. We really feel like we better understand how the city came to be. Kelvin was a super nice and friendly guide who took a lots of pictures for us and gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our trip. A truly memorable experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the kind words, and we're so glad you had a great time with Kelvin. More importantly, we are grateful that you chose to spend time with us to learn more about the city. Till the next time!

Exceptionally Fantastic Tour
For Kevin this isn’t a job -it’s a calling. A virtuoso performance. He stayed more than an hour after the tour officially ended! Knowledge - bottomless. Making it interesting - a mastered art. Reading the room and being responsive to what we wanted as individuals and as a family - pitch perfect. He has experience and official and opinionated answers about anything you’d want to know about Singapore, as edgy as you want to get. You thought public housing was dry? Guaranteed to leave thinking it’s one of the most important topics in the world.
Response from the operator: What an exceptional review, thank you so much for leaving such kind words! Kelvin is indeed a superstar, and looking forward to welcoming back you and the family to the city for another walk sometime. Keep well!

Authentic & Memorable Experience!
We had an incredible experience touring Little India with Everyday Tour Company Bespoke Food and Culture Tours. Peiying was an amazing guide and gave us such a unique and authentic perspective on the culture. The fact that her husband is Indian added a much deeper and more personal connection to the experience. It made it feel more genuine and unscripted. If you are looking for a non typical, non-touristy experience and want something truly off the beaten path in Singapore; I cannot recommend Everyday Tour Company Bespoke Food and Culture Tours enough. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip!
Response from the operator: Thanks again for coming on our tour, and all the kind support. We couldn't have asked for a friendlier little group that morning or better weather All the best to you back in your new role and looking forward to crossing paths again!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Everyday Art-chitecture Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.
How much does Everyday Art-chitecture Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everyday Art-chitecture Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.
Is Everyday Art-chitecture Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everyday Art-chitecture Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everyday Art-chitecture Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Everyday Art-chitecture Tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everyday Art-chitecture Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Singapore?
+
On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Singapore?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Singapore?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
