Awesome!
Driver of the 4x4 was excellent! What an experience. Our driver to and from the hotel also couldn’t do enough for us. We didn’t do the camel or the meal afterwards which was just as we wanted - it is a 50 minute journey if you are just doing the dune experience

Waste of time
The 15mins of dune bashing was brilliant, kids loved it. Unfortunately the whole experience was ruined by the driving to and from the desert, it was just too dangerous. Driver crossing multiple lanes at high speed and tail gaiting constantly, having to slam his breaks on to not rear end other cars. We expected the whole process to last around 3 hours but was more like 2hours with roughly only 15mins in the desert, the rest of the time was spent risking our life on the road or waiting at the stop for the driver to alter the tire pressure (necessary to dune bash in the same vehicle.) All in all - waste of time

Terrible driver. Waste of money. Dangerous on road driving
Terrible. Driver was impersonal. He didn’t speak to us. Acted like we were bothering him. Got to the waiting and got out of the land cruiser and said do whatever, we’ll go in 30 minutes and disappeared. Took us out in then dunes and drove well but took us back in 20 minutes. We asked if that was it, were we going back out ? Apparently that made him mad. We drove back to town at a scary rate of speed, he was going so fast into two roundabouts he had to screech to a dead stop to make the turn. Twice on the main highway he got within 2 meters of the car in front of us at 120-130 Kph. Except through business bay swerving and dropped us off without a word again A jerk basically. He wouldn’t engage and was a jerk. Not a fun trip.

Indulging the sunset
Naveed was very punctual to pick us up, well explained about the surrounding reaching the desert and friendly. Dunebashing was crazy fun and the view of sunset was awesome! Would be even better if he explained the itinerary on what will be having the next event.

Evening 4x4 Dune Bashing: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.
How much does Evening 4x4 Dune Bashing cost?
+
Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Evening 4x4 Dune Bashing take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.
Is Evening 4x4 Dune Bashing worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Evening 4x4 Dune Bashing?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Evening 4x4 Dune Bashing suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Evening 4x4 Dune Bashing?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Evening 4x4 Dune Bashing start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubai?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
