About this experience

Enjoy a beautiful boat trip in Estepona and discover the Costa del Sol from the Mediterranean Sea. These waters are known for being home to dolphins in their natural habitat, and during the trip we will keep a lookout in case we are lucky enough to spot them (not guaranteed). This dolphin watching experience is perfect for small groups (max. 10–12 people), away from crowded tourist boats. On board our comfortable and spacious boat, you will cruise along the stunning Estepona coastline while enjoying the calm of the open sea. One of the highlights is our large 4x4 m sunbed at the bow - perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, and taking in the views. If sea conditions allow, we will make a stop for a refreshing swim in the Mediterranean. You can choose to relax in the shaded seating area at the stern or enjoy the sun at the bow, always in a peaceful and exclusive atmosphere. Drinks and light snacks are included during the trip. We are a local family-run business, proud to offer a warm and personalized service, making every experience truly special and memorable.

Such a special experience – highly recommended!

We booked the dolphin trip while on holiday in Estepona and went with our almost 2-year-old daughter. We weren’t quite sure how she would like being on a boat, but she absolutely loved it. The whole experience was really relaxed and the crew was so friendly and welcoming. The trip was also very well organized and felt safe and enjoyable from start to finish. We were lucky enough to see several dolphins swimming near the boat, which was honestly such a special moment. We would happily do this trip again and highly recommend it!

Great experience, saw dolphins!

We had a wonderful time on the boat. The crew were welcoming and very accommodating for our 5 and 2 year old. The boat was a great size, we shared it with two small groups. The crew knew where to find dolphins and we saw them within 15 minutes. This was followed by a cruise and a pause to dip in the sea. I was worried we wouldn't see dolphins but honestly if we hadn't it was a great experience anyway. It was good value for money, and the trip was the right length.

Great late afternoon boat trip seeing dolphins

This was a great excursion. 2 hours was just right. The boat was lovely. It wasn't crowded and it was chilled. The guide Kamelia is a great host, she gave us a talk about the dolphins and we saw a dolphin family. It was such a good experience.

We Saw Dolphins!

From helping us aboard to the end of the trip the hospitality couldn’t be better! Cheerful welcoming and polite. We set up our sunbathing spot on the front of the very spacious deck and before long were offered a drink and some snacks. Very soon after we saw dolphins!! Not in the distance but right up close to the boat. The captain stayed long enough to see them swimming around and under the boat and then we left them in peace. Magical! We were then given some information about the bottle nose dolphins which was very informative. There were 12 guests aboard so plenty of room for everyone. We stopped for a swim and then headed back. A very pleasant relaxing 2 hours with the bonus of seeing dolphins. A wonderful trip would highly recommend.

Estepona Boat Cruise: Dolphin Search, Swim, Drinks & Snacks: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marbella.

How much does Estepona Boat Cruise: Dolphin Search, Swim, Drinks & Snacks cost?

+

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marbella usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Estepona Boat Cruise: Dolphin Search, Swim, Drinks & Snacks take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marbella is not rushed.

Is Estepona Boat Cruise: Dolphin Search, Swim, Drinks & Snacks worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 178 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marbella, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Estepona Boat Cruise: Dolphin Search, Swim, Drinks & Snacks?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Estepona Boat Cruise: Dolphin Search, Swim, Drinks & Snacks suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Estepona Boat Cruise: Dolphin Search, Swim, Drinks & Snacks?

+

Around 62 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marbella can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marbella and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Estepona Boat Cruise: Dolphin Search, Swim, Drinks & Snacks start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marbella within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marbella?

+

On Outty we rank every Marbella experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Caminito del Rey Day Trip from Costa del Sol, Parasailing Fuengirola - The Highest Flights on the Costa, Marbella Old Town group tour with a True Local. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marbella?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marbella?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
