Very bad
This was a terrible experience. We were afraid we were going to get left by our cruise ship, the blow hole was not blowing, which they knew it would not be when we got there, it was almost dark when we got to the place and the vendors were so pushy , worse than anywhere we have ever been, it was actually scary , the whole thing was a bad experience.
Response from the operator: We have carefully reviewed your comment and can confirm that you are not a customer of our company. There is no record of your booking in our system. Your experience, as described, does not correspond to our tours or the standards we operate under. We kindly ask that you remove this review and post it with the correct provider, as it is unfair to associate our company with a service we did not deliver. Our Ensenada tours are among the top-selling precisely because we focus on punctuality, safety, and ensuring all passengers return to their cruise ship on time, providing a reliable and well-organized experience. We appreciate your understanding and ask that you direct your feedback to the appropriate company.

Riding, sightseeing, shopping.
Riding on the beach with 12 yr old grandson was a joy. Our guide was delightful. Driver very capable. He found my Seapass card that had fallen on the rest room floor. Without it I don’t know how I would have gotten back on ship. We got some family gifts near bufadora in large marketplace area.

Had a great time with our family and friends. Our tour kind was informative and kind. The blowhole was really cool.

Our own private tour of Ensenada
It was nice that our driver, Yoshiro, spoke good English. He was very helpful, came through the flea market at the Bufadora with us. Which is helpful because the street vendors were very aggressive trying to sell us things. The taco restaurant there that he recommended was delicious but very crowded. We were early in the crowd, but there were already a lot of people and we couldn't go back for anything more because the line was so long. There were not enough tables for everyone. We had to pay 75 cents a person to use the toilet. I would not recommend more than twelve for the van. We were pretty tight, but it was fun. The kids liked the horses on the beach. Some adults went to a restaurant near there to wait for them. The directions on how to meet our driver could have been clearer, like say go to the front gate to the San Pedro port, which is the second gate after you leave the ship. Then the driver was across a street on the right not far outside the last (and main) gate. It was a 10 to 15 minute walk from the ship. I liked that we had a van just for our family of twelve. and it was air conditioned and our driver was pleasant and understanding and he let us decide our timing, what to do, etc.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ensenada.
How much does Ensenada Shore Excursion: Blowhole and La Bufadora Tour with Horseback Riding cost?
+
Prices start at $168 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ensenada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ensenada Shore Excursion: Blowhole and La Bufadora Tour with Horseback Riding take?
+

Is Ensenada Shore Excursion: Blowhole and La Bufadora Tour with Horseback Riding worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 51 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Ensenada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ensenada Shore Excursion: Blowhole and La Bufadora Tour with Horseback Riding?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Ensenada Shore Excursion: Blowhole and La Bufadora Tour with Horseback Riding suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ensenada Shore Excursion: Blowhole and La Bufadora Tour with Horseback Riding?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ensenada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ensenada and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ensenada Shore Excursion: Blowhole and La Bufadora Tour with Horseback Riding start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ensenada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ensenada?
+
On Outty we rank every Ensenada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guadalupe Valley Wine Route Tour in Baja California, Couple Tour, Xecue Wine Tasting in the Guadalupe Valley. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ensenada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ensenada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
