Ravello resting on the buttress that divides the valley of the Dragon from that of the Reginna, dominates from above from its 350 meters above sea level, the villages below Minori and Maiori. Archaeological Park of Pompeii
Pompeii Ancient city at the foot of Vesuvius very flourishing in the Roman period. Its destruction occurred in 79 AD. following the famous eruption of the volcano that covered it with lapilli and ashes. The first archaeological explorations took place towards the middle of the 18th century, the excavations took a great impulse, but only from 1860 did they become systematic and rational. It can be calculated that up to now about three fifths of the ancient urban area have been brought to light. One of the most famous archaeological centers in the world, which offers a precious and complete picture of the topography and life in a Roman city. Currently Pompeii is an archaeological site protected by UNESCO, the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture, attracting about 3,000,000 visitors a year.

Fabulous, Fun and Easy Setup
We experienced a FABULOUS tour of Sorrento and Pompeii with Giovanni! It was so easy to setup the tour online. I was afraid I missed something because it was so easy!! Giovanni's English is impeccable and he is incredibly funny and kind. Everyone on that team is easy to work with and responds quickly. They understood our cruise liner requirements. Again, it was so easy to setup and a fun/informative!!! DO IT!

Best Private Tour we’ve ever taken!
We are experienced travelers and always take private tours instead of cruise ship excursions because they are more informative, intimate and less expensive. Gio and Melania exceeded all expectations for providing a personalized tour that accommodated our unique interests and schedule. Gio clearly loves this region of Italy as evidenced by his exuberance and joy in sharing his knowledge of the area. It was pure joy spending time with him for a day. When we return to Napoli, our first call will be to them.

Perfecto in every way!
We used Lovely Amalfi 3 times in 4 days and they were outstanding on each excursion! The first was unplanned, but because of a 5 hour delay in our flight from Bari to Naples with only 3 days notice, we reached out to Giovanni who made arrangements to have us picked up and transferred directly to Positano, what a life saver and much easier trip than we would have had with Itali Air! The next day we had already planned a day with one of his drivers for a trip of the Amalfi coast with stops in Rovello and Amalfi city, learning so much history of the areas in relaxing comfort. The last day was a trip with Giovanni himself from Positano to Pompeii for time at the ruins, followed by a wine tour and lunch on Mt. Vesuvius, perfecto, and a drop at the Rome Airport for a flight the next day! Simply the absolute best service anyone could ask for. Getting around on the Amalfi Coast is not easy, but with the right drivers it makes all the difference, thank you again Giovanni and your crew for a wonderful time!!
