About this experience

With this tour we do not only want to show you the most admired town squares and monuments of Rome but rather make you a part of it! We have integrated places that will bring the Rome that we Romans know and love, places that we consider to have the most energy and vigour such as Campo dei Fiori with its famous colourful market, the small alleys of the Jewish Ghetto with its inns, antique dealers, tailors and shoe makers. In other words “A Rome” you can’t read about in just any guidebook, documentary or typical tour guide. Only we Romans know its true secrets and what makes it tick, I mean, in the end it is our city…so who should know it better!

The Best Way to See Rome in a Day!

Our experience with Achille during our golf cart tour was exceptional. Had we not been in a golf cart and had Achille’s knowledge to organize our day, we never would have had the time to see all that we did. In addition, we learned so much just through his sharing the history of landmarks and some of his personal experiences in Rome. We talked about food, wine and many topics relating to how the Romans lived and learned throughout the years. This was truly a wonderful tour. Kudos to Achille!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that Achille made your tour such an exceptional experience. His deep knowledge of Rome’s history, combined with his passion for sharing local culture, food, and stories, truly brings the city to life.

Our best experience in Rome

Our tour was excellent, our tour guide was awesome! He was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about Italy. We were able to see everything we wanted to see and experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. If I am blessed to come back I would definitely book this tour again! Lorenzo was very kind and very helpful to us all. He answered any questions we had. He assisted us in and out of the cart when we needed help. He sought out our comfort. I can not say enough about how great our tour guide was and our tour. First rate experience. Loved it! Thank you so much for making our experience the most memorable!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your amazing feedback! We’re delighted to hear that Lorenzo made your tour such a memorable and first-rate experience. His passion, kindness, and attention to detail truly make all the difference, and we’re so glad you felt comfortable and cared for throughout.

Eduardo made this a truly memorable day

Husband and I have been to Rome multiple times. This visit we brought out daughters and grandkids for their first visit. Our guide Eduardo was AMAZING. He showed us sites we hadn’t seen on previous visits. All the “kids” loved him. He took instagram pics for our granddaughter and entertained everyone with Rome’s history. Eduardo truly made it a fantastic and memorable way to see Rome in a short period of time.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the beautiful feedback! We're so happy Eduardo made your family’s visit extra special — it’s wonderful that even seasoned Rome visitors like you discovered new sights and stories with him. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words, and we hope to welcome you and your family again soon!

Best way to see Rome

Great way to see Rome. Stopped at several locations to take photos, including the colloseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and many others you don’t know you need to see. Eddie was our guide and was fantastic. He entertained us with great facts and was very accommodating with any requests we had. He even recommended the best lunch place we went to during our Rome vacation.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the lovely review! We're thrilled you had such a great time exploring Rome with Eddie — he's fantastic at making the city come alive and finding those hidden gems. So glad you enjoyed the sights and that perfect lunch spot! Hope to see you again in Rome someday!

Enjoy Rome Full day tour in Golf Cart with Catacombs: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.

How much does Enjoy Rome Full day tour in Golf Cart with Catacombs cost?

+

Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Enjoy Rome Full day tour in Golf Cart with Catacombs take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.

Is Enjoy Rome Full day tour in Golf Cart with Catacombs worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Enjoy Rome Full day tour in Golf Cart with Catacombs?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Enjoy Rome Full day tour in Golf Cart with Catacombs suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Enjoy Rome Full day tour in Golf Cart with Catacombs?

+

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Enjoy Rome Full day tour in Golf Cart with Catacombs start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rome?

+

Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rome?

+

April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rome?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
