About this experience
Your journey will include a new and animal-friendly experience with the elephants through living with them in a peaceful sanctuary. Safety and sanitization are our first priorities; thus, elephant riding and bathing activities are not offered here. We work with professional mahouts to take care of elephants and refrain from any forms of cruelty. Since you are in Thailand, we would like you to learn a little bit of Thai culture. The journey will take you to get an authentic experience of traditional Thai culture through activities like rubber tapping, making coconut milk, and Thai food cooking sessions. This unique and astonishing journey is only available here at Bukit Elephant Park.

Excellent
It was a last minute booking but well worth the trip. We stayed in the north of phuket island so it was quite a journey with the traffic. It was a well run sanctuary. Kids enjoyed feeding the elephants. We learnt a lot about the rescue of elephants and the personalities of the different elephants. It was sad to hear about the distress the elephants went through. We learnt a bit of rubber tapping and finally we were treated to lunch. The food was very tasty simple. Great value for money. It is a good half day trip. It was not a huge crowd during our visit. The staff and our guide was very knowledgeable and showed they cared for the elephants. It was a humid day butbthe atmosphere was quiet. It was sad to hear that they will be loosing this place in a few years and actively looking for a new place.

Great value & educational
Pukky was a wonderful guide, full of knowledge and respect for the elephants. I would recommend this tour as the owners focus on elephant rescue, have good care takers, and truly allow the elephants to enjoy their retirements from their previous lives as circus acts and elephant rides. We also were delighted to see a coconut shaving and milk extraction demo. We ended our educational elephant morning visit with a Thai cooking lesson before having a delicious authentic Thai lunch.

Wonderful experience, excellent guide.
From the beginning of the tour, it is clear just how well-cared for the elephants are. It’s so amazing to observe the elephants and hear their stories. Siri was a fantastic guide; answering questions, giving clear information, caring for her tour party and even showing us how to cook. She made the experience even more special.

Make the best memories with your family!
Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We got to be close to elephants without any fear of the treatment they’ve had to endure to allow it. The best kind of eco tourism. Watching them bathe and hand feeding them was really special. Learning their stories and the wonderful guide, Siri, was the icing on the cake. Thank you Bukit for a special morning making the best memories and a very good lunch 😊

Elephant Nature Experience with Lunch at Bukit Elephant Park: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.
How much does Elephant Nature Experience with Lunch at Bukit Elephant Park cost?
+
Prices start at $1500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Elephant Nature Experience with Lunch at Bukit Elephant Park take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.
Is Elephant Nature Experience with Lunch at Bukit Elephant Park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 45 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Elephant Nature Experience with Lunch at Bukit Elephant Park?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Elephant Nature Experience with Lunch at Bukit Elephant Park suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Elephant Nature Experience with Lunch at Bukit Elephant Park?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Elephant Nature Experience with Lunch at Bukit Elephant Park start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phuket?
+
On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Phuket Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour Option, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phuket?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phuket?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
