Santiago by scooter
We had a fun experience with Daniel on his electric scooters, exploring highlights around central Santiago. It was obvious to us how passionate he is about the city and it's history and his delivery of information was easy to absorb. The scooters were easy to use and Daniel planned a good route using cycleways where possible, which was relaxing. He signaled clearly times to display caution and modeled safe practices which made us feel safe while we explored. It was such a fun way to see a surprisingly large portion of beautiful Santiago and we are glad we took this opportunity. Thanks Daniel

Great scooter tour of Santiago
We did this tour with Daniel and had a wonderful experience. We learned a lot about the Chilean culture , government, food and history . We saw so much more being on a scooter and Daniel made us feel safe and taken care of the entire ride. If you are looking for a unique tour that is also fun, then this is the one for you .
Response from the operator: Thank you very very much for your words I really appreciate them 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Sincerely

Highly recommended!
This was an excellent experience! We got to know historical places from the City and Daniel was very knowledgeable. We stopped by to get some “empanadas” at a well known bakery in Santiago. Time flew and we had a great time!
Response from the operator: Thank you really much for yout words I really appreciate them 🙏🏼

Do not book!!
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. We showed up as scheduled for the scooter tour, but the host never arrived and never responded to any of our messages. We were left waiting with no communication or explanation, which completely disrupted our plans for the day. If the tour was unavailable or canceled, a simple message would have made a big difference. I would not recommend this experience due to the lack of professionalism and communication.
Response from the operator: Dear Jessica: I sincerely apologize for the experience you had. Due to a scheduling error on my part, I was not present at the correct time, and I understand the inconvenience and frustration this caused. I take full responsibility for this mistake. This is not the level of professionalism I aim for, and I have already taken steps to improve my scheduling and communication processes to ensure this does not happen again to anyone Thank you for your feedback. Kind regards, Daniel Scoo Tours Chile

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Electric Scooter City Tour ~ Discover Downtown - Santiago: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.
How much does Electric Scooter City Tour ~ Discover Downtown - Santiago cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Electric Scooter City Tour ~ Discover Downtown - Santiago take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.
Is Electric Scooter City Tour ~ Discover Downtown - Santiago worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Electric Scooter City Tour ~ Discover Downtown - Santiago?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Electric Scooter City Tour ~ Discover Downtown - Santiago suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Electric Scooter City Tour ~ Discover Downtown - Santiago?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Electric Scooter City Tour ~ Discover Downtown - Santiago start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santiago?
+
On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santiago?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santiago?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
