Electric Bike Rentals Waikiki: Honolulu E- Bike Rentals

Electric bicycle rental 7:00-12:00

I booked with a plan for a four-hour electric bike rental. We rented it at 7:00 and had booked Diamond Head from 8:00, so we headed to the hotel or about 30 minutes. Unlike the biki, it’s electric, so we could easily climb the mountain path to Diamond Head! A regular rental bike is fine for going along the coast, but this is recommended for uphill and long distance riding!! After getting off Diamond Head, we went to the farmers market and had lunch 🍔 The poles where bicycles are parked are often adjacent to parking lots. In the city, it is good to have chains on bicycle-shaped poles and squiggly poles. In Waikiki, dedicated bike lanes are located on the side of the roadway. It seemed like it would be no further than the zoo, and as long as it was a wide walkway, I could go. The car was also very tidy and I didn't have anything to be afraid of. It was an electric bike rental with a much wider range of activities 🌟 Thank you very much.

Terrific bike rental experience.

Tommy was very helpful and took the time to explain the rules of the roads in Waikiki. He set us up with the right bikes and the bikes were in good shape, no issues. Bikes were stable, very easy to ride and had a lock and medium sized front and rear packs to carry stuff.

Super fun!

Had a great time exploring. First we followed the suggested map and then we just explored the different neighborhoods and areas.

Overcharged and rude staff

Overcharged greedy people as the ebikes were not fully charged and told to come back. Hours later came back and they had started our session billing the hours that it was charging. The staff member Quinten was very rude and kept trying to nickle and dime charging extra for basic safety equipment of helmets and lights.

We are a Native Hawaiian owned and operated business and we have been in the visitor industry for over 40 years. However, if you made a reservation via Trip Advisor it is impossible to be over charged as you pre paid for your booking. We do not collect anything upon arrival. So as far as being billed after departure, that is not possible. Also, we do not charge for accessories. Locks and helmets are included with all our rentals and all of our bikes are equipped with LED head & tail lights. We do not offer external lights. If you provide us with your booking number I would be happy to look into this "overcharge" for you. Please give us a call at 8086341822 so that we can address your grievance. Fabulous e-bike shop

What a great experience. We walked to the bike rental shop as it was a couple blocks away from our hotel. The e-bikes were hub driven either varying levels of assist and an accelerator switch if needed. They explained the use of the bikes, what areas to stay in, be mindful of battery usage, etc. They provided helmets and a lock. We ended up going around diamond head, then going to the Lolani Palace, then lunch, and return. It was a fabulous way to see parts of Honolulu. Some areas are less bike friendly but overall drivers were tolerant of cyclists. Hele on Waikiki is highly recommended for their fair prices, knowledge, and support of their e-bikes.
