Kolocep Island
Of the three main Elafiti islands (along with Lopud and Sipan), Kolocep is the closest to Dubrovnik and the mainland. The two main villages on the island are Gornje (Upper) Celo and Donje (Lower) Celo. The island is also the smallest and has a population of around 250 people. As the smallest of the islands, Kolocep must be considered as providing the ultimate tranquility! Natural and historical stops with amazing caves will definitely attract you. So peaceful island seems like time has stopped once you are there. Car-free (of course), it’s a great place for relaxation and taking leisurely walks on the paths that criss-cross the island through its pine forests. There are also a number of interesting churches on the island, some of which stem from as back as the 9th century. These include the Church of St Sergius, with the Church of St Nicholas and the Church of the Holy Trinity from the 11th and 12th centuries.

Sunj Beach
Guests voted shallow sandy beach Šunj to be one of the best beaches on the Dalmatian coast year after year. This natural sandy beach is famous for its shallow crystal clear waters. It’s perfect for kids and anyone who wants to enjoy a day of relaxation. For those who want to lie down in a hammock, read a book, and listen to the crickets, there’s a restaurant set in the woods only a few meters from the beach. Šunj beach is the best know sandy beach on Lopud, quite often referred to as the only sand beach in Dubrovnik area.

Our private tour with...
Our private tour with Antony was amazing. Definitely a highlight of our trip. He drove us into several caves, shared information about Croatia and then we got out and swam at the blue caves. We got to stop and walk around at two islands and see some of the local flavor. It was a great day.
Response from the operator: Dear Megan, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your private tour with Antony was one of the highlights of your trip. He truly loves sharing the beauty of our coastline, hidden caves, islands, and the local way of life with our guests. It means a lot to know you enjoyed swimming in the Blue Cave, exploring the islands, and learning more about Croatia along the way. We hope to welcome you back to Dubrovnik for another unforgettable adventure in the future!

This was the highlight of our trip to Dubrovnik. Our captain, Zoran, was fantastic - courteous, knowledgeable, generous, and accommodating. He answered all our questions and tailored the experience to our preferences. We were picked up from our hotel on time and returned there immediately after docking. Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Elaphiti Island private boat tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Elaphiti Island private boat tour cost?
+
Prices start at $260 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Elaphiti Island private boat tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Elaphiti Island private boat tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Elaphiti Island private boat tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Elaphiti Island private boat tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Elaphiti Island private boat tour?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Elaphiti Island private boat tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
