Highly Recommend! +what to expect
Super fun experience and our guide Ivan was awesome. Total professional and really made the day a great one. That said here are few things you need to know! The adventure starts on the island of Lopud. We had to arrange our ferry ride to the island, which was not included in the price of the trip. Once you arrive, you sea kayak first. Make sure you have water shoes and a change of clothes. You get very wet! They will give you a wet bag to hold your stuff. Bring a backpack, sunscreen and a hat as you are on the water for a couple of hours! Wear contacts or bring straps for your glasses as there is always a chance you can tip your kayak! After you paddle to another island you transition to bike riding. It’s a beautiful ride but there are a couple of good size hills. It’s not flat! You stop for a nice lunch overlooking the Adriatic Sea and then it’s back on the bike and then back in the kayak. No skill is required but it was a workout!!

We had an incredible week's holiday
We went on the week-long Elafiti Island Hopping Sea Kayaking Tour. We were looked after for the week in every aspect, from the moment we left the airport doors on arriving, until we were dropped back at the airport doors a week later. Our guide, Borna, was wonderful and looked after us excellently throughout all of our kayaking trips as well as on our cycle ride and hiking excursions, and we always felt safe and in good hands with him. He was also great company, very knowledgeable about the islands, as well as life in general, and great fun to be with. We had an active week of kayaking, paddling almost 38 miles in four excursions accompanied by some cycling and hiking in addition. All of this took us to some really lovely places and it was well worth the effort. The days were busy and full, but we were well rested in our excellent accommodation and always ready to go the following morning. The programme was well organised and yet flexible enough for us change one of the days when the weather was too bad to kayak and we were able to move that day's activity to later on in the week. Whilst the programme was busy, it allowed for enough free time for us to do some things for ourselves and we felt like we had really had a holiday. Breakfast each morning was shared, out of doors, with our guide who prepared the breakfast for us and we enjoyed conversation and planning the days activity. Likewise, evening meals were spent in various lovely seafront restaurants where the food was excellent and we chatted over the highlights of the day. At lunch time we would stop at a suitable restaurant venue midway through our days paddle and again enjoyed food from an extensive menu. Ivan also shared the first few days as a guide with us and again was excellent company. He then attended to our every need throughout the week ensuring that ferry tickets, airport transfers and taxis, for example, were on hand as and when required so that our holiday went absolutely smoothly and totally stress free. This is an activity holiday and the stated 3 out of 5 activity rating is a fair reflection of what to expect. All of our kayaking equipment was supplied and we would recommend going for the full meal package, as we really wanted to be with the rest of our group in the evenings to enjoy the friendships we made throughout the week. We thought that the holiday was good value for money. In summary we agreed, we felt that the holiday was like spending a week with family, so much were we looked after in every way. This is a holiday we would definitely do again. Thank you, Ivan and Borna for making this a most memorable holiday!

Fun island hopping day trip
What an excellent way to sample two stunningly beautiful islands! Our guide was excellent offering us many insights into the history and way of life on these very special places. It was good to combine it with great activities of sea kayaking and biking too!

Wonderful active tour
Awesome active experience. My husband and I are both in our early 60s and moderately active. I wanted an excursion different from the other touring of museums and historical places that were part of our Croatian holiday. Z was an awesome guide and helped us feel safe and immersed in our kayaking and biking tour of the islands. I highly recommend this tour for those looking for beautiful views, active participation and quiet day outdoors and away from the crowds
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! It’s wonderful to know Zvone helped create such a memorable and active experience for you. We love offering a chance to explore the quieter side of the islands. Best regards, The AKT Team

Great day out from Dubrovnik to explore peaceful islands
Highly recommend this tour, as it is a great chance to explore the peaceful islands around Dubrovnik. Zvonimir was an excellent guide, providing everything we needed and leading us safely between islands. The lunch spot was fantastic, and we were able to visit a small beach after lunch to snorkle with fish. Overall, a fantastic day trip.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words and recommendation! We’re glad you enjoyed exploring the islands with Zvonimir. We also love the peacefulness of our islands and are happy to have shared that experience with you. Best regards, The AKT Team

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Elafiti Islands Sea kayaking: Full-Day Bike and Kayak tour on Lopud and Šipan: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Elafiti Islands Sea kayaking: Full-Day Bike and Kayak tour on Lopud and Šipan cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Elafiti Islands Sea kayaking: Full-Day Bike and Kayak tour on Lopud and Šipan take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Elafiti Islands Sea kayaking: Full-Day Bike and Kayak tour on Lopud and Šipan worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 236 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Elafiti Islands Sea kayaking: Full-Day Bike and Kayak tour on Lopud and Šipan?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Elafiti Islands Sea kayaking: Full-Day Bike and Kayak tour on Lopud and Šipan suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Elafiti Islands Sea kayaking: Full-Day Bike and Kayak tour on Lopud and Šipan?
+
Around 83 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Elafiti Islands Sea kayaking: Full-Day Bike and Kayak tour on Lopud and Šipan start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h), Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
