    Wow, what a day!

The pickup and drop off was seamless. The tour guide, Miguel, was extremely informative and took the guess work out of our expectations. Our driver Renee was skillful. The photographer took beautiful pictures. The lunch was delicious. The horse guides were very accommodating and the waterfall was beautiful. I enjoyed swimming in the waterfall. The beach we visited was fun and the pina colada was a pleasant surprise. It’s a full day excursion and I was good and tired at the end of the day. It’s a wonderful experience.

Not that nice of an excursion and falsely advertised

Not worth it and not as advertised. Was a 3 hour bus ride each way when the description states 1 hour. Making the trip a total of 14 hours instead of the stated 9 hours. The catamaran isn’t nice and you get waterboarded when the bay is choppy. The catamaran broke down and we had to crowd on another boat. Then you take another 30 minute bus ride to ride horses. The horses are malnourished and could barely make the trek without the guide pulling on them to go. The food was good for lunch. The beach was nice but drinks weren’t included. Overall, definitely not worth the trip and we would have rather stayed and enjoyed the resort. Safe to say we will not be doing another excursion from Amstar.

Response from the operator: Dear Traveler, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely regret to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that the transportation time depends on the distance from the hotel zone to the embarkation point, which is located quite far away. This information is clearly detailed in our tour itinerary, and it seems you may have been given incorrect information regarding the transfer time. We also apologize for the inconvenience with the catamaran and are very sorry to know that the horseback riding did not meet your expectations. Please rest assured that we take your comments seriously and will use them to continue improving our services. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.

El Limon Waterfall and Bacardi Island Tour from Punta Cana with Lunch Included: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.

How much does El Limon Waterfall and Bacardi Island Tour from Punta Cana with Lunch Included cost?

    +

Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does El Limon Waterfall and Bacardi Island Tour from Punta Cana with Lunch Included take?

    +

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.

Is El Limon Waterfall and Bacardi Island Tour from Punta Cana with Lunch Included worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 121 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule El Limon Waterfall and Bacardi Island Tour from Punta Cana with Lunch Included?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is El Limon Waterfall and Bacardi Island Tour from Punta Cana with Lunch Included suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book El Limon Waterfall and Bacardi Island Tour from Punta Cana with Lunch Included?

    +

Around 42 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does El Limon Waterfall and Bacardi Island Tour from Punta Cana with Lunch Included start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?

    +

On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Off Road Buggy Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Punta Cana?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
