    Not worth the money.

The description of the trip was misleading. Ein Gedi is not a lush rain forest in a desert. There are several small waterfalls with some pools of water that u can get into. The camel ride and Bedouin experience is in a parking lot off a highway. The Dead Sea was cool to do but the person I went with had done it before in a much nicer area and accommodations that had a beach, which this place did not. Jonathan, our tour guide was fabulous though and really saved the trip!

Response from the operator: Hi Cheryl , we apologize for your tour experience. here is our response : regarding the description so, it was changed by Viator without letting us know about it . we have talked to them and they said that they are sorry and that they will change it . Its under their responsibilty right now. You have got a private ride to Ein Gedi with the tour guide and he was waiting for you . regarding, the time spending there so you could easiley spend 3-4 hours there but it was a group tour and the tour guide had to be on time to the sea shore to let you guys free time there and to pick up the other participants. Regarding the camel ride so most camel ride options are located within junctions or parking lot but Viator wrote wrongly that its in a Beduin Camp which is not. Althogh the entire group asked to go through the desert with the camels and you got it. Regarding the sea shore so we've got some complains of other beaches therefor we work with that specific beaches and we havn't got any complains. Actually our tourists really like it and we get great reviews about it. We are so happy that we've got a good review from you about Jonathan the tour guide. Thank you for your review and hopfully having you on one of our tours in the future.

Fantastic day, didn’t want it to end

Our family had the best time. Our guide Avi was engaging and quite knowledgeable and a true pleasure to spend the day with. We had the perfect amount of time with a local Bedouin family and their delicious food and adorable baby camel. Ein Gedi exceeded our expectations of an oasis in the desert on a very hot day and our stop at the Dead Sea filled out the day nicely. Extra bonus was a stop at a local gem for falafel and Sabich for lunch. Highly recommend for all!
