Classic museum you should not miss.
Zizou, our tour guide was so wonderful. His knowledge surpassed most tour guides that we have in the past. His explanations and patience were outstanding.. This jam-packed museum was very interesting. Recommend it for those who really want to know the details of this wonderful country.

Great guide, fascinating visit and a must do
The museum itself is well worth a visit but it is huge and our guide is what made the experience. Mohamed gomaa was a fantastic guide who made sure we saw the must sees and his knowledge of Egyptology and the history of Egypt meant we learnt a lot. He was funny, personalised our tour and allowed us time to explore key artefacts. Highly recommended

Enriching visit experience with Hazem
We had an excellent experience with Hazem. He was very patient, highly knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that made the history come alive. We learned a lot throughout the tour. What stood out most was how attentive and caring he was toward my elderly parents, always making sure they were comfortable and never rushed. Thank you for such a thoughtful and professional experience. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a meaningful and well-guided visit.

Not value for money
Not the best, at this price., If they include the entry to the Museum, it would still make sense, not otherwise
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to kindly clarify that, as clearly stated in the tour description at the time of booking, the tour includes transportation and the service of a professional guide, while entrance fees to the museum are not included. This structure is explained in advance to ensure full transparency. We truly appreciate your comment and will take it into consideration

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Egyptian Museum in Cairo: Private Guided Tour cost?

How long does Egyptian Museum in Cairo: Private Guided Tour take?
+

Is Egyptian Museum in Cairo: Private Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 356 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Egyptian Museum in Cairo: Private Guided Tour?
+
Around 125 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel, ATV Bike, Shopping & Dinner Cruise, ViP Private Tour Giza Pyramids, camel ride , inside 3rd Pyramid, Giza Pyramids VIP Private Tour ATV Camel Inside Pyramid & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
