Life changing experience

It was a wonderful experience. The view from the boat was amazing I already missed the wind when I felt on the roof top. I think the fee was cheaper than what we can experience even though the ticket fee and the tip are not included. I took the 4days trip and it was long enough to visit all the temples along the Nile, but to enjoy the cruise and chill down I recommend the longer travel.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much , We really appreciate your comment and it is always a pleasure to serve you :)

Spectacular

Amazing tour from start to finish. Our main contact Peter ensured everything ran smoothly and we had everything we needed. Our Giza and Cairo guide Ashraf was so knowledgeable and took great photos, the driver was excellent navigating traffic. Part two of tour was the Nile cruise. The boat exceeded expectations, rooms and buffets excellent. The only disappointment was that we remained docked in Aswan for two days before the boat sailed and our cabin view was mostly of the boat docked beside us as the boats dock three or four abreast (you walk through them all to get to/from shore). This should have been made transparent from the start. Our guide Khaled for this part of the tour took great care of us, establishing a WhatsApp for the group to convey important information. We visited many temples and tombs - all spectacular. We felt safe throughout the entire tour and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to everyone who looked after us. We woukd highly recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: You were a champ! It was a pleasure showing you around.” Stay Safe :) , Khaled from Egypt Best Holidays

Great trip!

The trip was very well organized and we had a great time! Our first driver was very good and extremely helpful (Islam). Our tour guides helped us with everything we needed and provided great information, especially our guide during the Nile Cruise (Tallaat Abdo), who was considerate with our needs and knew a lot about the places we visited, we learned a lot from him. Despite the hot weather, we had a great time and recommend the tour! I have only one suggestion to the agency, we had a horse pulled carriage ride, and we didn’t know about it until the date, and we don’t usually ride vehicles that depend on animals. It might cause disconfort for tourists that feel the same, so I suggest you communicate the tourist before, and if possible, give an alternative ride (with no animal exploration).

Response from the operator: Thank-you for taking the time to leave a review. You were a champ! we always give the option in every sightseeing and these options are already via add on for the tour , camel or quad bike ride it is only the guest choice , It was a pleasure showing you around.” Stay Safe :) , Egypt Best Holidays

Highlights of Egyptian history with expert guides, planes, trains and cruise ships

We had a fantastic week in Egypt travelling with a 9 year old. Starting in Giza we had two days with Ashraf seeing the Pyramids and the museum learning everything you need to know. Accommodation was basic but comfortable and staff couldn’t do enough for us. The overnight train to Aswan was an experience where we joined 3 nights on the Nile Style. Upgraded to a suite we had a balcony and large room. Food was good and staff accommodating. Here Michael our expert guide took us on private tours of the fabulous sights of Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor. Abu Simbu was an optional extra which we didn’t take this time. Michael not only looked after us perfectly, his teachings of Egyptian history, the stories and tales of old and bringing to life of the gods, kings and pharaohs had us enthralled. Michael knew all the best times to get us into the sites and gave us plenty of time to explore and photograph. We could highly recommend and thank everyone involved in our trip.

Egypt 8 D: Cairo, Aswan,Abu Simbel, cruise, Luxor & Sleeper Train: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.

How much does Egypt 8 D: Cairo, Aswan,Abu Simbel, cruise, Luxor & Sleeper Train cost?

+

Prices start at $999 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Egypt 8 D: Cairo, Aswan,Abu Simbel, cruise, Luxor & Sleeper Train take?

+

Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.

Is Egypt 8 D: Cairo, Aswan,Abu Simbel, cruise, Luxor & Sleeper Train worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Egypt 8 D: Cairo, Aswan,Abu Simbel, cruise, Luxor & Sleeper Train?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Egypt 8 D: Cairo, Aswan,Abu Simbel, cruise, Luxor & Sleeper Train suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 192-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Egypt 8 D: Cairo, Aswan,Abu Simbel, cruise, Luxor & Sleeper Train?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Egypt 8 D: Cairo, Aswan,Abu Simbel, cruise, Luxor & Sleeper Train start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Giza?

+

On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Giza?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Giza?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
