Upon arrival in Edfu, you will be transferred to visit the majestic temple dedicated to Horus which is considered by most to be the best preserved cult temple in Egypt . According to the Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus revenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth. Lunch at local restaurant. Then transfer to see to the Temple of Kom Ombo standing on high grounds overlooking the Nile . It differs from other temples because of its double entrance, each one is dedicated to divinity: "Haroeris" with his falcon head and " Sobek " with his crocodile head. The Temple of Kom Ombo was built on the honor of two deities the crocodile-headed Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus. Also, Kom Ombo's importance lies in its huge sugar-cane. Then transfer back to your hotel in luxor and overnight.

An amazing trip to Egypt with Egypt Promotions

We had a packed tour of Turkey and Egypt. We spent 9 days in Egypt led by a tour guide from Egypt Promotions. The overall experience was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, even though we commented a few times to give us more concise narratives and a bit more free time to look at the sites. He was great and passionate about sharing his knowledge about Egyptian history and Mythology. Besides enjoying the sightseeing of all the amazing temples and museums. We enjoyed our 4 days boat ride on Dahabiya boat with entertainment and night party with village people. Visits to Nubian village was interesting as well. The driver abd other assisting staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time in Egypt.

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Aswan?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
