What you'll see and do

  1. Golden Bridge

A new and amazing bridge in Vietnam that looks like it is being held by two massive stone hands is wowing tourists with its incredibly unique design. The hands were actually not carved from stone but built by fibreglass and mesh steels, according to TA Landscape Architecture, the company designed the bridge. The project, which was built by the Sun World from 2009, sits on top of a forest that was once developed by French colonists as a hill station in 1919. The only remnants of the French occupants that tourists can see in the area from a cable car are the crumbling remains of their holiday homes. Go through the Wine Cellar and Linh Ung Pagoda. Explore the French Village with European castles and hotels and houses, Time Square, the Church and God Peak, Tea House, Bell Temple. Try the rolling coaster ride above the jungle (waiting to be on your turn is about 30 minutes). Get your choice for games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam.

The Golden Bridge in the clouds

You don't want to miss this ! Once I a lifetime experience. Although the rain was pretty horrible, our guide Tony was very patient and even took us back to the bridge when the wind and rain died down some. You can't predict the weather but rain or shine, this bridge is pretty epic. Thank you, Tony.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this amazing review. It truly makes us so happy to hear that you had a once in a lifetime experience, even with the challenging weather. We really appreciate your kind words about Tony. His patience and dedication, especially going the extra mile to bring you back when the weather improved, means a lot to our team. Moments like that are what we always strive to create for our guests. Thank you again for trusting us. If you have friends or family planning a trip to Vietnam, we would be so grateful if you could recommend us to them. They can reach us directly on WhatsApp at +84905494678 and we will take great care of them just like we did for you.

We couldn't work out either: Why? or What? This experience is about and for.

We understood at 1.5km elevation, if you want people in Vietnam outside all day, doing it on a cool mountain top is probably a good idea, but we couldn't understand what this 'park' is meant to be, and why it is what it is. It's a really weird place. We think it's a continuing work in progress, that when complete it will have hotel/holiday accommodation and be a fully fledged Theme Park with the usual roller coasters and thrill rides to entertain, but at the moment, it has none of these. There is the French village which seems to be a mash up of architectural styles (not all originating from France) literally ruined by a big glass multi-story building thrown in the floor plan. There are these brilliant buildings (all replicas of European styles) - but they have zero purpose, are empty with walkways and nothing more. The provide no utility other than to be observed. We got there early so avoided the heavy crowding which would have only grown through the day. Even then, it was quite busy trying to capture a photo on the "bridge to no-where" which also provides no function other than to be a frame for a photograph. There is also a Funicular (mountain train) which is there basically because they wanted a Funicular (as it seems to provide no genuine transportation justification) experience at the park. The buffet lunch was an extreme free for all - food was OK - but (appreciating we ate early because we attended early) it was already a crush when we ate, and can only imagine it would have been more chaos than a school lunch time when it got busier. Should you visit? I don't know - can't answer for you, it certainly was an experience, even if it was one we couldn't quite understand - but assuming it is still very much a 'work in progress' - perhaps in years to come it will become a must visit attraction.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to visit and leave such a detailed review. We truly value your honest feedback. We sincerely apologize for any shortcomings you experienced during your visit. We understand your concerns and appreciate you pointing out areas that caused confusion or dissatisfaction, particularly regarding the architectural designs and their purpose. Your insights are incredibly valuable and motivate us to improve for the future. This destination has become immensely popular, captivating thousands of visitors daily with its magnificent nature and the cool climate atop the mountain. We are truly honored to share this unique space and its stunning scenery with so many people. We have taken all your feedback to heart, especially your suggestions for completing the constructions, enhancing the visitor experience, and improving our services, particularly the dining area. We are committed to working tirelessly to address these weaknesses and transform this destination into a true resort and theme park, complete with more facilities and engaging activities. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the near future to experience the changes and improvements we are diligently working on.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.

How much does Early Sunrise Tour to Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge from Da Nang cost?

+

Prices start at $19 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Early Sunrise Tour to Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge from Da Nang take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.

Is Early Sunrise Tour to Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge from Da Nang worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Early Sunrise Tour to Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge from Da Nang?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Early Sunrise Tour to Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge from Da Nang suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Early Sunrise Tour to Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge from Da Nang?

+

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Early Sunrise Tour to Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge from Da Nang start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Da Nang?

+

On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Da Nang?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Da Nang?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
