    2. Temple of Athena Nike

Then, your guide will show you the temple of Athena Nike, a beautifully proportioned small Ionic temple that once served as a defensive position. You will learn about the temple’s purpose and its historical context. Your guide will also give you insights into the artistic style: how the slender Ionic columns and elegant proportions differ from the more massive Doric style seen in the Parthenon as well as the meaning behind the "Nike Adjusting her Sandal" — representing victory not through overwhelming force but through beauty, grace, and divine support.

10 minutes here · Admission included

    3. Propylaea

Before reaching the sacred heart of the Acropolis, you will pass through the monumental gateway known as the Propylaia. You guide will share amazing information about the function of the Propylaia as a checkpoint and a ceremonial threshold, controlling the flow of pilgrims during major festivals like the Panathenaia. In addition, you will learn about the political and religious symbolism: why the Athenians wanted visitors to be awed even before stepping fully into the sacred precinct.

    4. As you approach the Erechtheion, you’ll admire this elegant, unusually shaped temple was built between 421 and 406 BC and is famous for its distinctive architecture and deep connection to Athens’ most ancient myths. with your expert guide, you will learn about the legendary contest between Athena and Poseidon, the religious significance of the Erechtheion as a center of ancient worship for multiple deities and mythical heroes as well as stories behind the Caryatids — who they were, why they were used instead of simple columns, and the tale of how one was taken to London by Lord Elgin.

10 minutes here · Admission included

    5. Parthenon

At the end, you will marvel at the Parthenon, which is one of the most iconic monuments of Western civilization. You will learn about the vision behind the Parthenon: how Pericles, the Athenian leader, commissioned it as a symbol of the city’s dominance and cultural supremacy. The role of Phidias, the master sculptor, in creating not just the statue of Athena but also overseeing the entire artistic program. Along with your licensed guide, you will deep into the mythology and history embedded in the sculptural scenes — celebrating reason over chaos, civilization over barbarism, ideals that Athenians saw in themselves.

    Wonderful

Just the sun and the water. Necessary. But it is a marvel, and the guide was fantastic, explaining everything very well.

    Great tour

We had a great time being guided by Krissa. She was well informed, spoke excellent English and explained all the sites diligently but with humour.

    Flight...having to pay twice

Very bad service, we had to pay again at the door. Our children slept more because of the lag, and our tickets were no longer valid. Do not use this unnecessary agency. No one notifies you of this on their website...

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, We are very sorry to read your disappointment and we understand how frustrating this must have felt for you and your family after a long trip. However, we would like to clarify an important point: the validity of the tickets is determined directly by the site authorities and not by our agency. Once the entry time has passed, unfortunately, neither we nor any other agency are able to alter or extend that policy. We do our best to make these conditions clear during the booking process, and our team is always available to assist before the visit if plans need to be adjusted. For this reason, we encourage all guests to review the time-sensitive nature of the tickets carefully when booking, especially for popular sites. We truly regret that your experience was impacted by circumstances beyond our control, and we hope that the rest of your stay in Greece brought you more enjoyable memories. Best Regards, Margarita Karavasileiadi

Early Access to the Acropolis & Parthenon Walking Tour in Spanish: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Early Access to the Acropolis & Parthenon Walking Tour in Spanish cost?

    +

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Early Access to the Acropolis & Parthenon Walking Tour in Spanish take?

Is Early Access to the Acropolis & Parthenon Walking Tour in Spanish worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Early Access to the Acropolis & Parthenon Walking Tour in Spanish?

    +

Is Early Access to the Acropolis & Parthenon Walking Tour in Spanish suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Early Access to the Acropolis & Parthenon Walking Tour in Spanish?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Early Access to the Acropolis & Parthenon Walking Tour in Spanish start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
