The audio information was...
The audio information was difficult to correlate back to what we were viewing. Segments were too long and not very interesting without any visuals. Directions were frequently confusing.
Response from the operator: Hello and thanks for your review! We are sorry to hear that you found the audio information difficult to follow and that some of the directions were unclear during your visit. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate your booking in our system. Our audio content is designed to be informative, engaging, and easy to follow. If you have booked the full version, we also offer a shorter version that provides key highlights and essential information about the venue. Warm regards, Claire

Let Me In, Viator
Gaining entry into the museum was a nightmare. I don’t know why Viator sent me a voucher instead of my ticket. There was no Wi-Fi, so it took me half an hour to get into the museum, and I had to call Viator to get an email sent to me with a QR code. This was so incredibly unnecessary and highly inefficient — and so far below the standard I expect from Viator. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and very kind, but the overall experience was a disaster.

Worth the visit!
A good indoor activity! Highly recommend the audio tour to get the most out of walking through this historic site. We were mesmerized by the architecture and the preservation of such a historical moment for Santorini/Akrotiri. It’s very well done and worth the visit!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed exploring Akrotiri and that the audio tour added value to your visit. It’s truly a special site, and we’re glad the experience allowed you to appreciate its remarkable architecture and history. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you on another tour soon! Regards, Harold

Ticket + audio tour
It can be difficult to make sense of archaeological ruins, even ones as complete as at Akrotiri. The audio tour was a great help. Be sure to take a screen shot of your e-ticket, just in case.
Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you for your kind review 🙏 We’re happy to hear the audio tour made your visit to Akrotiri more meaningful. We recommend downloading your ticket in advance, as internet connection is usually poor onsite. Best, Jo

Amazing site and great experience - the audio app is challenging and borderline annoying.
Amazing access to an ancient site that’s truly remarkable. Following the navigation instructions with the audio app is a little difficult, but it’s the audio application itself that’s required that is awful and it’s less than stellar rating on the app store is indicative of the difficulty you’ll have. In spite of following the instructions perfectly, 2 of the 3 people in our group had to contact tech support to get the tour setup correctly in the app. If the site weren’t so amazing, I would have rated this tour much lower - the frustration we experienced took away from the charm of the site.

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
E-Ticket to Akrotiri with Audio Tour on your Phone: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does E-Ticket to Akrotiri with Audio Tour on your Phone cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does E-Ticket to Akrotiri with Audio Tour on your Phone take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is E-Ticket to Akrotiri with Audio Tour on your Phone worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule E-Ticket to Akrotiri with Audio Tour on your Phone?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is E-Ticket to Akrotiri with Audio Tour on your Phone suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book E-Ticket to Akrotiri with Audio Tour on your Phone?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does E-Ticket to Akrotiri with Audio Tour on your Phone start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
