A full day of exercise, beautiful scenery, excellent food and history!
The owner, Matt was super helpful in giving us guidance on where to go for food and a great biking path to travel, as well as a little historical context. He picked us up in Queenstown and shuttled us to Arrowtown adjacent to his store. He suggested we walk around a little bit before starting the biking trip. Our first stop was at Arrowtown bakery for three pies…my favorite was the brisket and jalapeno. The flavor was amazing and the crust was flaky and divine. We walked the streets meandering in and out of the shops. We then returned to the bike shop to get a quick tutorial on the bikes before embarking upon our day’s adventure. The views were amazing. The suspension bridges we had to cross were fun and a little scary at times. The bungy jumping area was phenomenal with more gorgeous views. There was a bar and food here. Then we stopped at Kinross on Matt’s suggestion! Icing on the cake….the food was so very delicious….You CANNOT miss this. We ended our biking at Mt. Rosa for the final wine tasting where Matt promptly retrieved us and returned us to the shop to drop off the bikes before bringing us back to our rental in Queenstown. Exceptional service and experience.

The best way to see Gibbston Valley!
We had the best day out on our e-bikes through the Gibbston Valley stopping at the vineyards. Sue was prompt picking us up in Queenstown and gave us a great run-down on the way out to Arrowtown , check in was super easy and instructions for the trail and bikes was very helpful and thoughtful. Great recommendation on coffee! We were worried about the weather as rain was predicted but we were so lucky that it only rained while we were inside wine tasting or having lunch. Chard Farm is a must-visit and our favourite vineyard of all that we visited! Incredible scenery everywhere you look, bikes were well maintained and made the ride a breeze. Sue dropped us back into Queenstown which felt like such a treat after a day of wine tasting and lunching! Highly recommend Better by Bike!

E-bike to vineyards
We booked thru the shop by the Hilton Queenstown. Super easy. We did the shuttle to Arrowtown and e-bike thru the vineyards. Kim was our shuttle driver and made sure we knew what we were doing and where to go :). Absolutely stunning views and had a great time at the vineyards along the way. We called Kim and she got us back to our hotel on time. Nice small family business feel and everyone so friendly. Especially our driver Kim :)

Best E-bike experience!!
Our family of four had an incredible experience with the electric bikes! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The bikes themselves were top-of-the-line—smooth, powerful, and comfortable, making the ride effortless even for those of us less experienced. The quality was evident in every detail, from the sturdy frames to the seamless gear transitions. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Riding through such picturesque landscapes added an unforgettable touch to the adventure. It felt like we were part of a postcard as we cruised along the trails. The instructions were clear and straightforward, making it easy for everyone in our group to feel confident and safe. A special shoutout to Kim for her outstanding service. A great company to hire from. A fantastic bike ride.
Fun experience for our group of 9. Had a mix of e-bikes and mountains bikes. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the transfers were on time and even loaded our bikes for us. This is a beautiful ride with spectacular views at every turn. My recommendation would be to wear ski gloves and thick socks if riding in winter.
