We understood this to be...
We understood this to be a private tour of certain places in Cape Town i.e. Table Mountain, Caste and Bo-Kaap with tickets to these places pre-booked to avoid long lines. However this came down to a driver driving you to the sites and then buying the tickets at the offices on arrival. You explore on your own. There is no additional info provided, value added or access to individual tours and information as was our understanding in order to justify the significant premium of about R4300 paid for this "private tour". If we used our rental car and drove ourselves we would have saved about R3000. We don't really see why one would use this product unless you a foreigner who does not want to explore but want a dedicated driver taking you from one site to the next.
Response from the operator: Thanks for your feedback. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately your originally allocated tour guide showed flu like symptoms the evening before your trip. As a precautionary measure we took him off the road but did not have another available guide that day. We therefore made a decision to allocate you a highly experienced driver instead of cancelling the trip last minute. We do however agree in this instance you did not get the full service as promised. Regarding advanced purchasing of 3rd party tickets, we are afraid we can’t do this during the pandemic as we suffer too many last minute cancellations leaving us with unrefundable tickets. We would like to make this up to you with a complimentary full day Cape winelands tour for 4 passengers as advertised on our website: https://www.citishuttles.co.za/day-tours Please communicate further with our office at: info@citishuttles.co.za. Once again our sincere apologies for your unsatisfactory experience.

Great half day tour of Cape Town's major attractions prior to our cruise.
What a great way to view Cape Town prior to starting our South African coast line cruise. The morning airport site pickup and afternoon cruise port drop off allowed us time to view & become familiar with the city's major attractions and it's history. This half day tour provided us more then enough time to visit Table Top Mountain & the historic Fort/Castle of Good Hope. The cable car ride and views from Table Top Mountain were exceptional. The tour of the Fort/Castle exterior & interior spaces was very interesting. The military museum's displays and the fort's noon time "changing of the key's" ceremony added to the site visit. We also walked the fort's walls which provided great views of the City Hall building & downtown area. Our local guide & driver, Keith, was very informative and also provided us interesting insights of Cape Town's history & development. We decided not to take the Diamond Works tour since we were already familiar with diamond mining & the cutting process.

E-Bike Cape Town City Half Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.
How much does E-Bike Cape Town City Half Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $162 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does E-Bike Cape Town City Half Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.
Is E-Bike Cape Town City Half Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule E-Bike Cape Town City Half Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is E-Bike Cape Town City Half Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book E-Bike Cape Town City Half Day Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does E-Bike Cape Town City Half Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Cape Town Airport Private Transfer, Ocean Wildlife Encounter in Cape Town. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
