1. Dunn's River Falls and Park

   Dunn's River Falls is one of Jamaica's national treasures. Globally, it is as well-known as Reggae and equally stimulating. There are few places where the Arawak name "Xayamaca" - land of rivers and springs - is more apt. The Spaniards called the area "Las Chorreras" - the waterfalls or springs - and it is truly one of the most beautiful spots on the island. A stone's throw from Ocho Rios, one of Jamaica's fastest growing resort centres, Dunn's River Falls is unique. Described as a living and growing phenomenon, it continuously regenerates itself from deposits of travertine rock, the result of precipitation of calcium carbonate from the river, as it flows over the falls. The small dome-shaped cataracts are usually associated with thermal spring activity found in limestone caves. This, combined with its location near to the sea, gives Dunn's River the distinction of being the only one of its kind in the Caribbean, if not the world.

2. St. Ann's Bay

   Our horseback ride n swim tour is for the adventurous who is intrigued by spending time riding along the countryside and splashing in the ocean with a friendly Horse. The horseback adventure will take you along a scenic journey on the countryside and in the Caribbean Sea. Your experienced guides will provide an introductory session to ensure your safety and full enjoyment of the tour. The 1-hour ride commences from the private and beautiful beach area and you are taken through the scenic countryside, passing tranquil farmlands of the locals living close by. The trail ride meanders back to the beach area where guests are given the opportunity to swim bareback and frolic with the horse in the magnificent Caribbean Sea. The sea is crystal clear and white sands allow for great swimming and picture-taking opportunities. Your ride concludes with the amazing swimming experience where you will be given the opportunity to take your horse into the water for a quick swim.

3. Scotchie's restaurant in Ocho Rios is said to have the most authentic jerk on the island. In fact, their food is so popular it now has three locations in Jamaica and has become somewhat of a legend on the island. Tiki huts provide covered seating, yet the restaurant looks like a shack with mouth-watering aromas pouring fro the smoky grills. Jerk chicken, pork, and festivals - a Jamaican twist on sweet bread sticks, are served with peas and rice, bread fruit, and plantains. Be careful with the homemade sauces, which are made with Scotch bonnet peppers (a seriously spicy pepper).
