    Super-Mario saved the day

Super-Mario was our superb driver who really saved the day not only by his safe drivning but we started the day with a flat tyre that he quickly changed but then we had to go up in the hills, to his homebase, and change car! This took awhile so we were late so we skipped lunch....Dunns River Falls was beautiful and I urge you to climb them with a guide, loved it. Nine Miles is so interesting and so so worth visiting so do it. If you are, like we did, staying in Negril this is a long day in the Sandler, 12 hours, but we thought it was well worth it. Once again a big thank you to Super-Mario.

    Super-Mario saved the day

Super-Mario was our driver and a good one but we had some unluck with a flat tyre after 15 minutes so he had to change the tyre and then the car in order to get us going but he did real well. From Negril this is a long day in the car to reach Dunns River at first and climb the waterfall which we really recommend and then going to Nine Mile which we also recommend whole-heartedly. Due to our early struggles it took us 12 hours and we skipped lunch in order to make it to Nine Miles. again a big thank you to Super-Mario for the way he drove and solved the early mishaps.

So worth it with this company. Great day

Bit of luxury as long day so wanted private car rather than mini bus. Ryan was our driver and he wanted to make sure we had a good day. Apologising for the pot holes only made us laugh as we live in England - many pot holes! Ryan explained history and about the places we passed through - so interesting. We bought trad pudding and Mango. Rest stops and photos en route. Went to Dunn River Falls as possibility of rain later. Went straight in, Ryan was waiting when we had completed our climb. Cost all included. The waterfall climb was crazy and so worth it. Then on to Nine Mile to see Bob Marley Museum and his home. Long drive up in to the hills but so worth it. Saw real life Jamaica and stunning scenery. Again Ryan told us about the towns we passed through and answered our many questions. We laughed a lot. The Bob Marley home and museum was so peaceful and so moving. Our guide was brilliant and told us so much, a band played Bob Marley music, we sat around Bob’s meditation stone and had the privilege of spending time at his final resting place. It’s a very long day be warned but so worth it.

Great all day adventure to see Jamaica

Great trip and worth the time. It’s most of the day from Negril but you won’t regret it. 9 mile is very informative and peaceful and a definite highlight. Dunns river falls was a great way to end the trip. Gordon was our driver and did a stellar job.

Great adventure and with the time from Negril

Finishing up our wonderful day which started at 715 from sandals Negril with our great driver Gordan! He arrived early to wisk us away to 9 mile. He drove the mountainous roads with expertise. He’s honestly the best and safest driver I’ve encountered in all of Jamaica! The tour was peaceful, informative and respectful. Well worth the journey! From there we hit Dunns River Falls. It was raining hard but don’t let that discourage you. Once you’re in the falls you don’t even notice the rain. Finally Gordan navigated us back to our resort with professionalism and NASCAR like speed when the traffic permitted. If you r lucky enough to get Gordan have him take you to the Jerk Chicken place near 9 mile. Cost $10 US and worth every penny.

Dunn's River Falls and Bob Marley Mausoleum: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Negril.

How much does Dunn's River Falls and Bob Marley Mausoleum cost?

    +

Prices start at $300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Negril usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dunn's River Falls and Bob Marley Mausoleum take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Negril is not rushed.

Is Dunn's River Falls and Bob Marley Mausoleum worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Negril, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dunn's River Falls and Bob Marley Mausoleum?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Dunn's River Falls and Bob Marley Mausoleum suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Dunn's River Falls and Bob Marley Mausoleum?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Negril can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Negril and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dunn's River Falls and Bob Marley Mausoleum start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Negril within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Negril?

    +

On Outty we rank every Negril experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Transportation and Tour from Montego Bay to Blue Hole/Secret Falls, Negril Glass Bottom Boat Tour Snorkeling and Booby Cay, ATV, Bamboo Rafting and Negril Ricks Cafe from Montego Bay. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Negril?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Negril?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
