About this experience
This short excursion from Dubrovnik lets you explore beyond the city without spending too much time away, while still making the most of every moment. The Pelješac Peninsula is renowned for producing some of Croatia’s finest red wines, and during the trip you’ll enjoy a guided wine tasting at a welcoming family-run winery. You will also visit Ston, a charming medieval town famous for its historic salt pans—the world's oldest still in operation. Here you’ll see the impressive “Great Wall of Europe,” built in the 14th century to protect the town and its valuable salt production. Departures are available in the morning or afternoon, and—depending on availability—an earlier afternoon departure may also be arranged. After returning to Dubrovnik, you’ll leave with plenty of wonderful impressions from this memorable experience.

Wonderful Wine & Ston Experience!
We had a wonderful day visiting the Pelješac Peninsula for a wine tasting and exploring the lovely historic town of Ston. Our guide, Ordan, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient, making the entire experience relaxed and enjoyable. The wine tasting at a family-owned winery was a highlight. We loved the personal atmosphere, tasting the local wines, and experiencing a more authentic side of Croatia. Ston was absolutely charming and a wonderful addition to the day. Ordan owns the tour company himself, and you can tell he genuinely cares about providing his guests with a great experience as he continues to grow his business. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and would happily recommend Ordan and his company to anyone visiting Dubrovnik and looking to experience the wine country and beautiful Ston! He also mentioned that he does customizable tours. What a great option if we visit Dubrovnik again.
Response from the operator: Thank you both so much for such a thoughtful and wonderful review! It was truly a pleasure spending the day with you and showing you Pelješac, the local wines, and beautiful Ston. I’m especially happy that you enjoyed the personal atmosphere at the family-owned winery and the region's more authentic side — that is exactly what I hope guests take away from this experience. Thank you also for your incredibly kind words about me and the way I run my tours. They genuinely mean a lot. I hope our paths cross again, and if you return to Dubrovnik, I would be delighted to create another special experience for you both! Warm regards, Ordan

Great Vistas, Great winery and good food - just poor service at the restaurant due to a disinterested waiter.
The wine tasting was outstanding and the drive to/from Dubrovnik beautiful! While the food at lunch was very good, the time required and the service were a disappointment. We cut short the time in Ston, having been there just a few days before.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. I'm sorry about your experience in the restaurant.

Ordan was fantastic! Great tour.
We booked our tour with Ordan very last minute. He was very accommodating and professional and got everything organised quickly. He is extremely knowledgeable and the tour was perfect, with a visit to Ston, wine tasting, and lovely lunch. If you are looking for a fantastic tour guide, I would recommend Ordan from Feel Dubrovnik. He also has a wealth of knowledge about Dubrovnik and gave us a history lesson on route!
Response from the operator: Many thanks for picking my tour and for this great review!

Great time on wine tour!
Our wine tour with Ordan from Feel Dubrovnik was fantastic. From the moment we were picked up, Ordan made us feel like VIP guests, combining his deep knowledge of Croatian culture with a warm, personal touch made the whole day feel special. If you’re in Dubrovnik and even thinking about a wine tour, we would highly recommend Ordan with Feel Dubrovnik—you’ll have the experience of a lifetime.
Response from the operator: Thank you for this excellent review. I'm very thankful!

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dubrovnik Wine Tour: Pelješac Winery and Ston Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Dubrovnik Wine Tour: Pelješac Winery and Ston Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $207 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dubrovnik Wine Tour: Pelješac Winery and Ston Experience take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Dubrovnik Wine Tour: Pelješac Winery and Ston Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dubrovnik Wine Tour: Pelješac Winery and Ston Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dubrovnik Wine Tour: Pelješac Winery and Ston Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dubrovnik Wine Tour: Pelješac Winery and Ston Experience?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dubrovnik Wine Tour: Pelješac Winery and Ston Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h), Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
