Ston
At no additional charge. Because of its geopolitical and strategic position, Ston has had a rich history since ancient times. Located at the gates of the peninsula, surrounded by three seas, protected by four hills, rich in fresh water and saltwater, fertile plains, it has been an important political, cultural and ecclesiastical centre. The fortress of Ston was one of the largest construction projects of the time, with an original length of 7000 m, consisting of the walls of Ston and Little Ston. The Great Wall consists of three fortresses, and the walls and fortresses are flanked by 10 rounds of 31 squares and 6 semi-circular bastions. The complex defense corps has been shaped over the course of four centuries, due to the development of weapons. The walls were of great importance because they were defending the saltworks that gave 15,900 ducats every year to the Dubrovnik Republic, the shellfish farm and the city itself.

Amazing place on earth
We had an incredible meal here. The seafood starter was absolutely perfect-fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The mussels were the absolute highlight of the night: cooked to perfection in a rich, delicious sauce. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and top-tier food. Highly recommended for any seafood lover! This place is synonymous with hedonism.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by stunning nature. The whole experience was amazing, from the delicious food to the comfortable transfer. More than just a transfer. An experience!
It's rare that a simple transfer ends up being such a wonderful experience! The day started with our punctual and joyful driver, Zvone, who's knowledge of the country and the culture made the drive so much more enjoyable! And then the amazing service by Hacienda Dubrovnik with a 5 course water to table lunch! It was delicious and an experience. Included muscles, fresh fish caught earlier that day, and wine and some special drinks as well. Impeccable service and amazing beautiful drive. If deciding between a ferry or renting a car, this is a luxurious service that is a no brainer. My itinerary: - Dubrovnik to Ston: ~1 hour (stay for 30mins - 1hr) - Ston to Pelješaac Hacienda: ~30mins (lunch for appr. 90 mins) - Hacienda to Split: ~2.5 hours Total time about 6hrs - 7hrs

Fabulous From Start To Finish
This was easily one of the best tours of our 3 week European vacation! From the confirmation (with driver name and vehicle license plate provided) to pickup, lunch and delivery to our hotel in Split, this team was AMAZING! The drive along the Adriatic was beautiful, and Zvone was a careful driver while being attentive to our interests and timelines. We enjoyed the free time to explore Ston on our own, with a bit of the history from Zvone before we departed. Ado was a gracious host, chef and sommelier at the off the beaten path farmhouse, providing a delicious, freshly harvested and caught lunch with wonderful wine and aperitifs. The food was fresh and tasty, with portions so large that we didn’t need dinner. Yes, it was a long day with the drive from Dubrovnik to Split, but I can’t think of a more pleasant way to spend it. Do yourself a favor and book it!
