Just go to Albania
We thought that this was a small group tour. It was, with just the 2 of us with Juli from Corf to Tirana. We felt very spoilt! We learned so much from Juli. He's a great bloke, intelligent and articulate. The passion, history, safety, food, people, landscape, plus some from Juli was wonderful. The hotel accommodation was 4 star all the way. Albania has so much to give and we thank Juli so much and wish him all the best for his future.

Memorable cultural and culinary experience in the Balkans
It was a memorable experience and discovery of the interesting historical, cultural, natural attractions in the region, as well as the local and tasty food. Many Thanks to Neli, our tour guide for his expert and friendly services during the two weeks, and to Sirma and Brikena for their professionalism and availability to ensure all went smoothly.
Response from the operator: Our team is grateful to know you had an amazing experience. Thank you for your feedback!

It’s Time To Visit The Balkans
Our trip Dubrovnik to Athens in 14 Days, by CHOOSE BALKANS, exceeded our expectations. We visited Dubrovnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Albania and Greece. The history of these countries was interesting, and the cities and towns were beautiful. The churches, mosques, castles, bazaars and monasteries we visited were wonderful. The scenery of mountains, lakes, and coast were stunning. We stayed in small hotels, which was great. Our tour leader Sokol was great fun to be with. We had many questions before booking this trip, and Sirma from the CHOOSE BALKANS team answered all our questions so promptly, providing the information we required. Tourism in these countries is growing, and visiting these countries at such a time has been exciting and special. We would highly recommend this trip, and CHOOSE BALKANS travel company. This trip will stay with us for a very long time.

A Great Overview of the Balkans
This was a very interesting tour of a part of Europe with which most people are unfamiliar. Great sights were castles of Berat, Gjirokaster, and Prizren; the old streets or bazaars of Kotor, Mostar, and Prizren; the monasteries or mosques of Blagaj, Decan and Meteora. There was a relaxing break of 2 nights at Lake Ohrid. We enjoyed the scenery along the Montenegrin Riviera and the road to Sarajevo. We had a great driver in Eri who was very knowledgeable of the area history and very helpful with everything from Internet connections to restaurant suggestions. His navigation of the narrow and steep roads or traffic congestion was quite remarkable. The hotels were generally small and family run and often modernized historic buildings - most were very enjoyable. Our only critique would be the long drives on a couple of the days. One day from Prizren, Kosovo to Ohrid, North Macedonia via Pristina and Skopje was far too long. We would have skipped Pristina and stayed overnight in Skopje, a capital city which we barely saw. Like-wise we felt we didn't have enough time in Meteora to visit the mountain top monasteries. The last day - a drive to Athens from Kalabaka was also a long one for our driver and without much interesting viewing. Overall a great tour.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dubrovnik to Athens; Semi – Private tour with Tour Leader & Car: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Dubrovnik to Athens; Semi – Private tour with Tour Leader & Car cost?
+
Prices start at $3874 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dubrovnik to Athens; Semi – Private tour with Tour Leader & Car take?
+
Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Dubrovnik to Athens; Semi – Private tour with Tour Leader & Car worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dubrovnik to Athens; Semi – Private tour with Tour Leader & Car?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Dubrovnik to Athens; Semi – Private tour with Tour Leader & Car suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 336-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dubrovnik to Athens; Semi – Private tour with Tour Leader & Car?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dubrovnik to Athens; Semi – Private tour with Tour Leader & Car start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
