What you get
About this experience
Escape the tourist crowds and taste the real Dalmatia on this intimate food and wine walking tour through the quiet, hidden streets of Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Led by a local foodie, you'll skip the tourist traps to visit traditional eateries run entirely by local families. Sample a generous menu of authentic Croatian dishes perfectly paired with indigenous wines, all carefully curated by a certified WSET Level 2 wine expert. Enjoy enough delicious food to replace a full lunch or dinner, and take in the history as you pass by iconic landmarks like the Franciscan Pharmacy, Onofrio's Fountain, the Rector's Palace, and the Cathedral. We keep our groups small (just 8 people max) so you never feel like just another face in a crowd. It gives us the flexibility to take spontaneous detours, have real conversations, and make the whole experience feel much more personal.

Jadranka was a great...
Jadranka was a great guide. She is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. She knows Dubrovnik so well and took us to many areas that a tourist would never find. In doing so, she kept us, mainly, from the tourist dense areas and made the tour much more enjoyable.

Brilliant Tour. A must do!
What an outstanding experience. The food was delicious and we got to enjoy it in the company of the very knowledgeable Tour guide. We recommend this, especially at the start of your trip so that you can use some of the insights you get in this Tour for your trip.

Dubrovnik Food Tour
Maris was a fountain of knowledge about the history and culture (and food of course) of Dubrovnik. She showed us around the old town in between eating spots and gave us tips on what to do for our remaining time in Dubrovnik. The food and wines were also great and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Awesome tour with. Great guid!
We did this tour with another couple. Maris was our tour guide and she was delightful. She communicated well with us and made sure we were able to meet in a busy spot. She spent time giving us some of the history of the the area as well as taking g us to 2 nice restaurants. We got to try some nice wines and wonderful food. Maris was fun, informative and knew how to make this a fun trip. I would definitely recommend this tour and recommend Maris!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dubrovnik Food, Wine & History Tour - Small-Group Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Dubrovnik Food, Wine & History Tour - Small-Group Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $132 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dubrovnik Food, Wine & History Tour - Small-Group Experience take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Dubrovnik Food, Wine & History Tour - Small-Group Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dubrovnik Food, Wine & History Tour - Small-Group Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dubrovnik Food, Wine & History Tour - Small-Group Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dubrovnik Food, Wine & History Tour - Small-Group Experience?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dubrovnik Food, Wine & History Tour - Small-Group Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
