    Montenegro

It was very wet, no fault of anyone, that is Mother Nature. There was very little commentary so you didn’t know what you were driving by or little history was given. The trip to the island and church ……… the church was packed and because our tour guide was not from Montenegro we received no history as we made our way through it. The tour through the old town in Kotor was very good. The tour guide had a great sense of humour and was very informative. Unfortunately the downpour of rain hampered our day for the ability to see more. And finally on our way back our bus broke down so needed to be retrieved. The wait was minimal

worth the time - glad we went. watch the seating

If you book for a Monday tour, be advised the museum in Perast is closed on Monday’s. You board the van by some order established by the company based on hotels and tour roster - you could very well end up with the last seat on the bus. For the van used for our trip, I wound up in the second seat on the right, right behind the tour guide. I am 5”7” tall - anyone taller than I could not sit in that seat - there is no leg room. That seat is terrible! Further, my traveling companion was seated across the isle and a row behind. The tour guide worked to seat us together (I declined) - I wanted to keep a window seat, and anyone bigger than I would not have been able to sit in that seat.

    Montenegro day trip

We had a great day in Montenegro with Tina. We especially enjoyed the boat ride to Lady of the Rocks and Old Town of Kotor. Tina was personable and knowledgeable and kept the group on time.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.

How much does Dubrovnik Day Tour of Montenegro with Kotor Perast and Boat Ride cost?

    +

Prices start at $103 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dubrovnik Day Tour of Montenegro with Kotor Perast and Boat Ride take?

Is Dubrovnik Day Tour of Montenegro with Kotor Perast and Boat Ride worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 337 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dubrovnik Day Tour of Montenegro with Kotor Perast and Boat Ride?

How far in advance should I book Dubrovnik Day Tour of Montenegro with Kotor Perast and Boat Ride?

    +

Around 118 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h), Dubrovnik: Sunset Kayaking & Snorkeling with water &wine. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
