Along the way, you’ll pass through the outskirts of Dubai, watching the urban scenery fade into expansive, golden dunes. Upon arriving at the desert’s meeting point, you’ll have the opportunity to take a short break, use the washroom, and explore the surroundings. Here, you can also rent a quad bike or buggy for a self-driving experience, allowing you to navigate the sand dunes on your own for an extra thrill. Pre-booking is highly recommended for this activity Pick-up usually happens in the afternoon, around 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM during winter and as late as 3:30 PM 4:30 PM during the hottest month of summer or depending on the package selected. A 4x4 vehicle, usually a Land Cruiser, will pick you up from your hotel or designated location in central Dubai.

The return trip to your hotel takes about an hour, although travel times may vary due to road traffic.
