This is a superb...
This is a superb experience including rides in a 1950s Land Rover, the opportunity to encounter wildlife (gazelles & oryxs), camels, falcons, wonderful & plentiful food, and all led by friendly guides. Sleeping accomodations are comfortable, though not air conditioned (be aware when packing/dressing for the trip), with charging and also there is cell service on the preserve.
Response from the operator: Hi Ian_D, Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the vintage 1950s Land Rover rides, wildlife encounters, camels, falcons, and the delicious food. We’re also glad to hear that you found the accommodations comfortable and appreciated the facilities provided. Your helpful tips about packing and dressing are much appreciated by future guests. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable desert adventure soon! Kind regard,

Nice desert experience away from Dubai
Safari Heritage collection Jeep: Very good follow-up by the team - the activity organisers' office from the moment of booking to the moment of pick-up. Excellent communication. Due to traffic in Dubai, we were the last to arrive at the site. The sequence of activities is too fast, with photo breaks lasting only a very short time. We didn't get to enjoy what the desert has to offer enough. The jeep safari lasted barely 45 minutes. The falcon activity: Good explanations and demonstration. Smaller groups would be preferable. The camel ride is ridiculous. It takes place in the evening (which is a shame for photos; it would be better in the afternoon or at sunset) and only lasts 3-5 minutes. It's not a ride but a ‘merry-go-round’. The meal is the highlight of the excursion. Very good quality Bedouin meal, self-service. Quality and quantity are both there. The show is not very interesting. The stargazing session is interesting. The driver-guide is professional from start to finish. Good value for money, considering that hotel pick-up is included in the package.
Response from the operator: Hi 463jeanfrancoist, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We truly appreciate your honest comments. We’re pleased to hear that you were satisfied with our team’s communication and follow-up from booking through pick-up, as well as the professionalism of your driver-guide. It’s also wonderful to know that you enjoyed the Bedouin dinner and found the stargazing session interesting — we’re delighted these were highlights of your evening. We sincerely regret that some aspects of the experience felt rushed, particularly the photo stops and the duration of the safari drive. Your feedback regarding the camel ride timing and format, as well as group sizes during the falcon activity, is noted and will be shared with our operations team for review. We are always looking for ways to improve the overall flow and guest experience. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and for highlighting the value of the included hotel transfers. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide an even more seamless and enjoyable desert experience.

Great experience, very professional
Fantastic experience throughout. We were thoroughly impressed by the professionalism of everyone involved. Especially our guide, Saddique, was extremely forthcoming and attentive; for instance he was able to get us a short notice booking for the hot air balloon ride, even though there was originally only one space left. He and the company made it happen. I loved the mix of activities, all of which were just the right amount of time - not too short, but also not too long. The vintage Land Rovers are fun to be driven around in. The falcon show exceeded my expectations. The food was fantastic, and I cannot recommend the Hot Air Balloon enough - an amazing experience.
Response from the operator: 821kf, Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re truly pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the experience and the professionalism of the team. Siddique will be delighted to know his attentiveness made such a positive difference. We’re glad you loved the mix of activities, the vintage Land Rovers, the falcon show, the food, and especially the hot air balloon. We hope to welcome you back again soon for another unforgettable experience.

A Standout Overnight Desert Safari Experience
An unforgettable overnight desert safari with a camel ride to the camp and glamping for our family of four. Our guide, Ravi, was outstanding; warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and an excellent photographer who captured great family shots. Dinner was genuinely delicious, though the portions were way too much. Henna art was perfect for the ladies, and Bedouin coffee and Shisha great for everyone . The night walk was a highlight: we went scorpion-hunting with a blue light and found a few, then watched the stars peek in and out. Sleeping was comfortable; cool but not cold, with good beds. The morning was cooler and the sunrise was really beautiful. Great breakfast (again, too much!) with un-rushed time for conversation with other guests. Overall, a fantastic experience for adults and kids alike.
Response from the operator: Hu 479DavidT479, Thank you very much for sharing such a detailed and wonderful review! We’re truly delighted to hear that your overnight desert safari was a memorable experience for your entire family. It’s especially great to know that Ravi made such a positive impression with his warmth, knowledge, and photography skills—we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to him. We’re glad you enjoyed the camel ride, glamping experience, dinner, henna art, Bedouin coffee, shisha, and the unique night walk under the stars. The scorpion hunt and peaceful sunrise moments are indeed highlights for many of our guests, and we’re happy they stood out for you as well. Thank you once again for choosing us and for your thoughtful feedback. We hope to welcome you and your family back for another unforgettable desert adventure in the future.

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dubai: Overnight Heritage Desert Safari with Vintage Land Rover: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.
How much does Dubai: Overnight Heritage Desert Safari with Vintage Land Rover cost?
+
Prices start at $1195 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dubai: Overnight Heritage Desert Safari with Vintage Land Rover take?
+
Plan for about 16 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.
Is Dubai: Overnight Heritage Desert Safari with Vintage Land Rover worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 155 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dubai: Overnight Heritage Desert Safari with Vintage Land Rover?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dubai: Overnight Heritage Desert Safari with Vintage Land Rover suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 16-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Dubai: Overnight Heritage Desert Safari with Vintage Land Rover?
+
Around 54 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 16-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dubai: Overnight Heritage Desert Safari with Vintage Land Rover start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubai?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
