Unfortunately, a complete failure!
Friends of ours who were on holiday in Dubai a few months ago told us that they did a private city tour and were very enthusiastic. They had a great guide who told them a lot about country, people and sights. For this reason, we decided to book a private day tour during our holiday in Dubai. Guided by the good reviews we have booked with ALMUHAREB TOURISM. Our booking was admittedly only made at relatively short notice the night before, but we immediately got a confirmation and we should be picked up at the hotel the next morning at 9:30. Unfortunately, no one came. After about half an hour of waiting, we asked the staff at the reception of our hotel to contact the organizer and ask. You were told to communicate via WhatsApp. After some back and forth, we were finally picked up just over an hour late. We were relieved and looked forward to a great day. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Our driver was certainly a good person but unfortunately completely unsuitable for the job. He seemed overwhelmed and could only speak English very poorly. He could hardly answer any questions, or he often did not understand what we wanted. It went something like this: When I asked our driver "Is there always so much traffic in Dubai" I got from him in response: "Yes, the weather is really hot today". That's why we just drove around without really knowing where to go and got practically no information whatsoever. We were also particularly annoyed that we were taken to a so-called "Islamic Art Gallery" on Jumeira Street without being asked, and were urged to enter. In fact, it was a shop where jewelry, perfumes and other goods are advertised and sold. This was not in our interest at all and we asked to be able to leave the building directly. After some further misunderstandings, because our driver had not understood us and could not provide information, we ended the debacle prematurely and had us brought back to the hotel because we were sorry about the time. In the aftermath, the organizer offered us to consume other activities at discounted prices or even by invitation due to the poor performance of our tour. But we thankfully rejected that. The fact is that we have more or less lost a very valuable holiday day. We have booked other activities with other providers in the following days. Everything worked out perfectly there (even with short-term bookings) and the tour guides were on time and could tell us a lot...

Dubai is a very beautiful city. Our private driver had already agreed with us a few days before what we wanted, he told us the route, what tickets we needed and when to go! Our private driver was fantastic, a prepared and organized person. The driver speek excellent English. The taxi was clean and tidy. I recommend this driver! 🥰
