The drive to the desert takes about 45 minutes to an hour, allowing you to enjoy the scenic views of Dubai’s outskirts as you approach the vast desert landscape, also known as the meeting point. This first stop offers a chance to freshen up, use the washroom, and stretch before the action begins. Here, you can also rent a quad bike or buggy for an independent ride (pre-booking is recommended) or take pictures of the stunning red sand dunes while your guide prepares the vehicle for the highlight of the trip – the thrilling dune bashing experience. Pick-up usually takes place in the afternoon, between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM during the winter months, or between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM in the height of summer, depending on the hotel location and package selected
