Stressful and unpleasant tour
If I could I would give minus 5. 1. Confirmation about next day tour never been sent. When we started to text to the provided contact number to confirm about meeting and pick up time the confusion became more and more.As per booking information tour starting time is 9:00am which logically makes you think that pick up time is some time before that start time. But they moved pick up time from one time to another and eventually we 've been picked up at 10:30am. And that is with tour start time 9:00am 2. It was never explained comprehensivly that there's 2 different tours inside one booking. When we finished City sight tour the guide said we are done. It was about 2:00pm .We showed him our booking details with included "Dhow Cruise Dinner by the Greek in Traditional Arabic Wooden Dhow" and logically questioned about it. He said that it will be 8:00 pm same day. Then he asked if we want to go back to the hotel and then be picked up again at 7pm or he can drop us by that cruise area so we can spend there couple of hours and then go to the cruise. We took option #2 to spend time at the cruise area. Then guide left the buss we were in and said that driver will drop us off exactly where we have to get into the mentioned cruise. Unfortunately it didn't happened. Since in a little bit driver dropped us in the middle of nowhere stayting that due to traffic he will not go there for us. Driver adviced us to walk and then take a taxi to get to the place. Very weared .We started to text to the tour contact number again . And the rep confused us even more texting that we scheduled for Marina Dinner tour but not to the one mentioned in the booking information. And rep said it's completely different place but he said if we want we can go to Dhow cruise instead but they will not provide us with drop off after. He told us to go back to the hotel and wait for pickup. It was sounded like they just trying to play with us. If it was different cruise name from the written one on the paper and different place to departure, why nobody told that? So we had to rush to the hotel by taxi and paid $30 for taxi. Then waited in the lobby again for pickup which was scheduled for 7:00 pm but didn't happen until 7:45pm. Eventually we got to the cruise ~ 9pm instead of 8 pm. Frustrated, upset and tired so much that couldn't enjoy possible nice cruise. 3. Who will compensated that extra$30 for taxi which not supposed to be spent in normal situation? We coming to visit country and get good experience but instead we got stress , multiple texting which are not free with our phone company.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding regarding the pickup and drop-off services for your tour. As we discussed during the booking process and noted in the information provided, complimentary transfers are limited to certain areas. Your booking did include transfer options, and we did our best to accommodate your needs within the guidelines. As a reminder, the exact pickup time for shared tours depends on daily traffic conditions, hotel location, and other factors, which may affect timing. For guests desiring more precise timing, we do recommend upgrading to a private transfer. We always advise our guests to contact us 24 hours in advance to confirm tour details and to read all information provided on the booking voucher. This helps ensure smooth travel and allows for any necessary adjustments. We truly appreciate your understanding, and thank you for your feedback

Good way to experience a lot of Dubai in a day
Really enjoyed the half day tour, many of Dubai’s sites included with an excellent overview from our guide. The driver dropped us at the Dubai Mall rather than our hotel to enable us to continue our sightseeing. It was a shame we had to make our way to the Dhow cruise rather than get picked up but it was still a memorable evening, great way to view the Marina skyline with decent food and some entertainment.
Response from the operator: Dear Norma, Thank you for your wonderful feedback about our Dubai City Tour and Dhow Dinner Cruise experience. We are also happy that you had a memorable evening enjoying the Dubai Marina skyline, dinner, and entertainment onboard the dhow cruise. We hope to welcome you again for another Dubai experience. Good Excursions
Although our driver/guide was late, he was very knowledgeable and polite and we saw everything we wanted to see. The evening cruise was ok, not the best we have ever been on but quite acceptable and our driver was on time and polite. The food was very limited and there was no alcoholic drinks, probably not allowed with it being a dhow cruise. Entertainment was mainly ok, a bit silly at times but entertaining.

Dubai City Tour and Dhow Dinner Cruise Dinner: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.
How much does Dubai City Tour and Dhow Dinner Cruise Dinner cost?
+
Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dubai City Tour and Dhow Dinner Cruise Dinner take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.
Is Dubai City Tour and Dhow Dinner Cruise Dinner worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dubai City Tour and Dhow Dinner Cruise Dinner?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dubai City Tour and Dhow Dinner Cruise Dinner suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dubai City Tour and Dhow Dinner Cruise Dinner?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dubai City Tour and Dhow Dinner Cruise Dinner start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubai?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
