    45 euro fee when delayed

The ride itself was very easy. However, it is a 45 euro fee for every hour your driver has to wait (aka if your flight or train get delayed). Our train was delayed 1.5 hours and we had to pay 90 euro - this was unexpected and extremely frustrating because it was out of our control and the train schedule in Italy is unpredictable. Also your driver can't take you to the hotel door (for some spots) because you cannot drive in Positano. We still had to walk like 15 min to our hotel (although we paid the 10 euro for a porter to deliver the suitcases).

    Great Service Great Drivers

We had a private transfer from Pompeii to Positano and then from Positano to Naples. It is so easy to book and very easy to get in touch if you have any questions. Our drivers, John and Davide, were lovely and arrived 10 minutes early. They both spoke very good English and were so nice. They also drove very carefully on those thin Positano roads. 100% recommend them and would use them again!

Response from the operator: I really appreciate your words , Thank you very much, very very much I cannot describe our gratitude. see you in Italy next time. Rosy and team

    Fabulous

I loved it all but I say Sorrento was indeed my favorite. John was our driver. We almost took him home with us. Lol John. Rosie as always you never disappoint. John was waiting exactly were you said he would be waiting. Perfect day in every way. This is the best company to work with for any travel needs. Thanks again Rosie and John Dusty, Carolyn and Diana

Response from the operator: Thank you for writing such a great review and we all wish to thank you for placing your trust in us hope to have the pleasure to see you once again Rosy & team

    Amalfi tours

Our excellent tour guide Giovanni topk us from our hotel at Naples. We visited Pompei, Sorento, Positano and finally we arrived to our hotel at Amalfi. It was our first time at Amalfi coast and without Amalfi tour, it will be so difficult doing the tour with ourselves. They are very ponctional, on time every time, very helpful, kind and they know every where. It was our chance to find them.

Response from the operator: Thank you for writing such a great review and we all wish to thank you for placing your trust in us hope to have the pleasure to see you once again

Great day tour of the Amalfi Coast!!

We had a great day touring Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. Francesco was a wonderful guide, picking us up at the Naples train station traveling from Rome. With limited time we were able to see all the beautiful sights and tour Pompeii. Highly recommend Amalfi Coast Day tours - communication was excellent, and the tour was designed around what we wanted to do, including a quick stop at the Limoncello factory.

Response from the operator: thank you very much for coming with us, we have been honored that you choose us to take care of your Amalfi Coast tour

Drive from Naples to Positano: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Drive from Naples to Positano cost?

    +

Prices start at $54 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Drive from Naples to Positano take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Drive from Naples to Positano worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Drive from Naples to Positano?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Drive from Naples to Positano suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Drive from Naples to Positano?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Drive from Naples to Positano start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
