Wow super service

Wow! This far exceeded our expectations. Super service, great food, really accommodating to dietary preferences. Comparatively pricey drinks once on board but to be expected. Great range of excursions. We felt truly spoilt. Would have been good to know that sea swimming not possible (cleanliness, jellyfish, currents) before the trip to manage expectations.

Da sogno

The experience in Bai Tu Long Bay aboard the Dragon Legend 2 was simply incredible. I’ve made memories that I will cherish forever. A truly special thank you goes to our guide, Phil. With his contagious enthusiasm, genuine passion, and remarkable ability to share his love for these places, he made this experience even more authentic and unforgettable. His energy truly made all the difference and turned an already wonderful cruise into a memory that I will always carry in my heart. Many thanks as well to the manager, Vuong, for the excellent organization, to Chef Khoi for the delicious menus, and to the housekeeping team, whose care and attention made our stay in the cabin a true delight. It was a dream come true.

In Ha Long Bay, magic is real.

My wife and I had an amazing time during our private cruise on the L’Amore Junk Boat. I’m not really one for gushing, but I’d struggle to describe the experience as anything other than magical. Touring the bay together in a rustic, yet luxurious and traditional boat with its amazing crew, fantastic food and all the Vietnamese coffee (and rum) we could drink, was amongst the best experiences we’ve ever had on vacation. Likewise, our tour guide Tony ran a fantastic program for us, timing the visits to caves, villages and private beaches so that often we were the only ones there! What an awesome time, we’d do it again in a heartbeat – and probably will!

Good value and experience in Ha Long

Despite multiple conflicting reviews about Ha Long Bay in general, we selected a longer cruise with Dragon. And glad we did! The cruise took us far outside the shorter cruises' range and so we had mostly empty waters for our trip. Ben was our cruise director and a national treasure! Felt cared for right from the beginning. It's a long bus ride from Hanoi and once you get to the harbor, you are taken to a very nice holding center to await transport to the ship. It's very organized but a bit hectic. Pro Tip: if your rez was made by a travel agent, often the cruise records the agent's NAME as the guest. Be aware, they might not have your name..easy to fix and Ben spotted it right off. Onto your tender out to a magnificent ship worthy of Captain James Hook!! Delightfully decorated room with comfy beds and bathroom. Food is out of this world! The excursions are well thought out and very informative. Do the kayak trips! The beach BBQ is your only chance to swim in the bay...which was clean despite other reviews. And how this crew manages a full blown five course BBQ meal with ice cold beers is beyond me.

Fantastic cruise, with loads of activities and great staff

What a brilliant experience. We were greeted so warmly by the staff on boarding the boat. Our cabin was so spacious with a large luxurious bath tub and big windows to see the stunning landscape. The staff and guides provided excellent service and activities. The food was such high quality and abundant. We packed so much into our 1 night trip - kayaking, visiting a cave/beach, a boat trip around a fishing village, cooking lesson, squid fishing and tai chi on the deck. Sunset cocktails on the top deck was amazing too. And not to mention the stunning landscape all around you. What a memorable fantastic cruise we had.

Dragon Legend Cruises 2Days/1Night 5 Star All included: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.

How much does Dragon Legend Cruises 2Days/1Night 5 Star All included cost?

+

Prices start at $360 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dragon Legend Cruises 2Days/1Night 5 Star All included take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.

Is Dragon Legend Cruises 2Days/1Night 5 Star All included worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dragon Legend Cruises 2Days/1Night 5 Star All included?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Dragon Legend Cruises 2Days/1Night 5 Star All included suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Dragon Legend Cruises 2Days/1Night 5 Star All included?

+

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dragon Legend Cruises 2Days/1Night 5 Star All included start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

+

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
