Then we stroll by a historic Sonoran Row House dating to the 1850s, and learn how these structures were built for our desert climate! Next, we visit the Historic Pima County Courthouse to hear of the Dillinger Gang's 1934 capture in Tucson. Next, we learn the tale of Tucson's first cathedral, and hear of a famous gunfighter who partied in Tucson! We stroll by the historic Fox Tucson Theatre, and see Tucson's first skyscraper! We visit the Hotel Congress & discuss the Rialto Theatre, both with storied pasts! Then we visit the Railroad Depot seeing a steam locomotive used in the movie Oklahoma and learn the tale of Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp visiting the depot! We end at Jacome Plaza to learn of a luxury hotel and the downtown department store scene that gained national acclaim!

A not to be missed experience
One of, if not, the best tours I have ever taken!!! Scott's knowledge of history and storytelling abilities are only matched by his exuberant personality. He is personable, likeable, clearly loves what he is doing and has taken touring to a new level. The 2+ hour tour flew by with his uncovered hidden stories and interesting tidbits of information. We hated to see the tour end but are left with an indelible impression of Tucson. Thank you Scott for the most educational and entertaining time!

Excellent tour experience in downtown historical Tucson
Scott was an excellent guide, full of good stories and historical & cultural facts. He hit all of the highlights in the Presidio area and paced the walk well. We appreciated his good sense of humor as he wove the intertwining stories together. Be sure to wear sunscreen and a hat, as the tour is often in full sun.

100% Start by Learning the city
The tour led by Scott was great! He's incredibly knowledgeable and more importantly passionate about the subject. Even the few parts of the tour I knew beforehand, he made interesting. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Tucson - you'll leave knowing more than the locals!
