    Amazing and insightful

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Tampa Bay Food Tours during our Brand Ambassador Familiarization Tour! From start to finish, the team created an engaging, organized, and welcoming experience that perfectly showcased the charm and culinary scene of Dunedin. The tour was the perfect balance of local history, storytelling, and incredible food. Our group especially appreciated how smoothly everything was coordinated for a larger party and how intentional each stop felt. Every restaurant brought something unique to the experience, and the guides did an amazing job creating an atmosphere that was interactive, informative, and genuinely fun. This was not only a wonderful experience for our volunteers, but also a great reminder of how valuable food tours are in helping visitors connect with a destination in an authentic way. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors looking to experience Dunedin beyond the typical tourist stops. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and look forward to working together again in the future!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your praise of the Dunedin Food Tour. It is our pleasure to showcase the amazing local businesses in the Tampa Bay area. We hope to see your group on another food tour soon!

    Fantastic Food Tour of Dunedin!

Fantastic good tour of Dunedin! Great way to start our week here as we got lots of good restaurant and "things to do" suggestions from our excellent guide Kimberly. This food tour will leave you satisfied from the ample food stops, and the drinks along the way. We have done food tours all over the world - this was one of our favorites. Thanks Kimberly.

Response from the operator: Wow — thank you so much for the incredible review! Hearing that our Dunedin tour ranks as one of your favorites among food tours around the world truly means the world to me. I’m so glad it was a great way to kick off your stay and that you’re heading out with plenty of delicious restaurant ideas and fun things to do. Great Dunedin tour!

The tour was a lot of fun. Our guide Alex (I think?) was friendly, fun and had lots of great history info that I was previously unaware of. Having lived in Dunedin for a part of my life it was good to finally get educated on some things. Food and especially the alcohol options were great as well LOL.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words about the tour—and about Alex, the food, and the drinks! When you love something, it shows, and we truly love Dunedin and feel incredibly lucky to work with such amazing tour partners. We're so glad you enjoyed the experience!

Downtown Dunedin: Food, Drink & Cultural Walking Tour by TBFT: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Clearwater.

How much does Downtown Dunedin: Food, Drink & Cultural Walking Tour by TBFT cost?

    +

Prices start at $124 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Clearwater usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Downtown Dunedin: Food, Drink & Cultural Walking Tour by TBFT take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Clearwater is not rushed.

Is Downtown Dunedin: Food, Drink & Cultural Walking Tour by TBFT worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Clearwater, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Downtown Dunedin: Food, Drink & Cultural Walking Tour by TBFT?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Downtown Dunedin: Food, Drink & Cultural Walking Tour by TBFT suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Downtown Dunedin: Food, Drink & Cultural Walking Tour by TBFT?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Clearwater can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Clearwater and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Downtown Dunedin: Food, Drink & Cultural Walking Tour by TBFT start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Clearwater within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Clearwater?

    +

Clearwater Beach fills its calendar with dolphin cruises, pirate-themed family sails, parasailing, jet ski tours around Caladesi Island and sunset trips off Pier 60. On Outty we rank every Clearwater experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Little Toot Dolphin Adventure at Clearwater Beach, Clearwater Encounters with Dolphins Tour, Clearwater Beach Parasailing Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Clearwater?

    +

March to May and October to November for warm water without peak crowds. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Clearwater?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
