What you get

    About this experience

Live this memorable experience to the Strait of Gibraltar and witness first hand the seven different species of dolphins that live in this area. This narrow body of water is where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet, between the European and African continents. Its narrowest point, at just 14.3 KM or 7.7 miles away, the Strait, is one of the busiest ports in the world. Declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, these waters have much protection to help maintain the various forms of wildlife that live in these waters. We will leave the city of Gibraltar and we will enjoy a 2-hour boat ride through the Strait, respectfully observing the many species of dolphins. Before returning to Seville, you will have some free time to enjoy the amazing city of Gibraltar. A minimum of 4 people is required for the tour to operate.

    Great dolphins but poor organization

I found the process to get to our guide confusing. No one explained what was going on and we almost got on the wrong bus. I also wish there had been more information about how much walking was required as I found that difficult with a bad knee. One of our guides was great, but the main guide was somewhat rude.

Response from the operator: Hi, thank you very much for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We're sorry for the inconveniences you had and we would like to express our most sincere apologies for annoyances. But, please, keep in mind that the itinerary for this experience is clearly depicted in the product's description. Nevertheless we took notes of your comments and we will be reviewing them with our staff to ensure your voice is being heard. Kind regards.

    Very chaotic

So first of all, in the morning we were waiting for the guides like 30minutes.. then in Gibraltar we didn’t catch the right time for boat trip to see dolphins, so we had to wait for another 90 minutes for the next trip. The dolphins were great. But our guide told us that we will meet at some point at 4pm, so after the dolphins we were in a hurry to catch the time, and then after 30 minutes of waiting there, the guide finally called us, and told us that the other group had delayed meeting time, so we had to wait AGAIN for another 30 minutes. (We were already on the Spanish side). From Gibraltar we saw like two streets and one restaurant, because we were left alone there by our guide. So we can definitely recommend this trip to someone who likes to be alone, left in the middle of a different country where you can’t even be online to check the map, because there is very expensive mobile tariff. Who also likes waiting for others and see nothing. I would like to believe that the guides are good guides but on our trip it didn’t happen. To be honest, some compensation would be great because the guides basically told us like two sentences and we do not understand why one of the guides didn’t go with us and we were left on our own. For the price around 100 euros we did not get enough service.

    Great choice!

Efficient and cheap service for luggage storage; fast and kind guys, great for visiting the center (we left our luggage in the shop on Via Francos)!

Response from the operator: Ciao Giulia! Grazie mille per la tua recensione, siamo molto felici di sapere che ti sia piaciuta la tua esperienza di avvistamento dei delfini con Naturanda, speriamo di rivederti presto nella tua prossima avventura!

Dolphins Watching in Gibraltar - Day Trip from Seville: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.

How much does Dolphins Watching in Gibraltar - Day Trip from Seville cost?

    +

Prices start at $141 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dolphins Watching in Gibraltar - Day Trip from Seville take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.

Is Dolphins Watching in Gibraltar - Day Trip from Seville worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dolphins Watching in Gibraltar - Day Trip from Seville?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Dolphins Watching in Gibraltar - Day Trip from Seville suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Dolphins Watching in Gibraltar - Day Trip from Seville?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dolphins Watching in Gibraltar - Day Trip from Seville start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seville?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seville?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seville?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
