Dishonest and intimidating – avoid Elgamy Travel at all costs

Dishonest and intimidating – avoid Elgamy Travel at all costs I booked a trip with **Elgamy Travel** and it turned into one of the worst tour experiences I have ever had. The offer and confirmation clearly stated that **round‑trip** transport was included in the price, yet at the end of the tour the provider suddenly demanded extra money for the return journey, inventing an additional “return fee” that was never mentioned anywhere. This is not a misunderstanding – it is a classic bait‑and‑switch tactic. When I questioned this, I felt pressured and intimidated, as if I would be left without a way to get back unless I paid this surprise charge. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, looks like an intentional attempt to scam customers once they are already dependent on the company for their return. No serious, honest tour operator behaves like this. I strongly do **not** recommend Elgamy Travel. If a company cannot respect its own written conditions and tries to squeeze extra cash out of customers with hidden charges at the end of a trip, they do not deserve your trust or your money. Travellers should stay away from Elgamy Travel and choose a different provider that is transparent, honest, and respects what is promised in the booking.

Awesome day trip with the added of bonus of seeing the dolphins

We can't fault this trip, reasonably priced, good communication, we decided to switch the day as the sea was pretty rough on the original date so postponed booking 2 days (would recommend using WhatsApp as very responsive this way) and no issue with amendments. Was messaged night before with pick up time and location, smooth pick up/ return. Boat was clean and staff very friendly and informative 👌 Had 2 snorkel stops, first stop was quite a distance following the guides, felt personally this was abit too far without prior advice but the guys were really helpful. Would recommend the second stop (free swim) where you can take it at your own pace. We saw a pod of dolphins 🐬 which was obviously a bonus and husband got to dive in and swim alongside them. Was impressed with the guys ensuring people do not touch the dolphins and coral. Lunch was basic but for the price I wasn't too bothered and had packed snacks. Free refreshments and Extras available for a fee. Overall very impressed

How far in advance should I book Dolphin House Royal Sea Trip with Lunch, Water Sport - Hurghada?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hurghada?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hurghada?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
