See Florida’s Space Coast from the water on a relaxed, small-group dolphin and manatee tour with just six guests per boat. Our small boats can move into shallow backwaters, slow down quickly, turn easily, and quietly reposition when wildlife appears. That gives your captain the freedom to follow the moment - getting you really close for incredible views of wild dolphins and manatees without disturbing them. Dolphins are seen on virtually every trip, and manatees on most. Your captain is also your guide to the Space Coast — sharing the story of this remarkable area, from the lagoon and its ecosystem to Cape Canaveral and the growth of America’s space program. You’ll see launch facilities in the distance, hear the stories behind historic and upcoming missions. With a knowledgeable local captain, no crowds, and plenty of time to look and enjoy the water, these two hours feel like a real introduction to the Space Coast — not just a boat ride. Minimum booking of 2 guests.

    Dolphin adventure

The tour guide was awesome. It was an adventure that I would experience again. Dagne took us to where the dolphins were jumping right next to the boat.

    Dolphin and Manatee tour

Captain Dagan is wonderful! So knowledgeable and had lots of information about the area and wildlife animals. I highly suggest him and the tour. We saw manatees and the dolphins, he knew right where to find them.

Lovely dolphins, appalling attitude of captain.

We saw dolphins and manatees which was lovely. However the captain's (Kurt) attitude was appalling during the trip and he was rude when asked questions about some wildlife. We were charged full price for a 2 year old who sat on a knee all the trip which was expensive. We booked the island stop trip but were told as soon as we got on that we wouldn't be stopping there as the other 2 people on the boat hadn't booked it and it was too far away. The two trips are sold separately but are actually the same trip. I would not recommend with this captain at all.

Response from the operator: Janice, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed seeing the dolphins and manatees, but we’re very sorry that other aspects of your experience left you disappointed. We take comments like yours seriously and will review what happened with our team. We truly appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cocoa Beach.

How much does Dolphin and Manatee Boat Tour near Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral cost?

    +

Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cocoa Beach usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dolphin and Manatee Boat Tour near Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cocoa Beach is not rushed.

Is Dolphin and Manatee Boat Tour near Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cocoa Beach, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dolphin and Manatee Boat Tour near Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Dolphin and Manatee Boat Tour near Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Dolphin and Manatee Boat Tour near Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cocoa Beach can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cocoa Beach and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dolphin and Manatee Boat Tour near Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cocoa Beach within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cocoa Beach?

    +

Cocoa Beach sells surf lessons, airboat rides on the St Johns, bioluminescent kayak paddles in summer and rocket launch viewing cruises, with Kennedy Space Center a short drive north. On Outty we rank every Cocoa Beach experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mangrove Tunnels, Dolphins, Manatee Tour #1 Rated in Cocoa Beach, Wizard of OZ Museum tour, Cocoa Beach Dolphin and Wildlife Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cocoa Beach?

    +

March to May and September to November; check launch schedules before booking. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cocoa Beach?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
