Choosing me as your food tour guide in Bangalore isn’t just about finding someone to show you where to eat. It’s about having someone by your side who truly cares about your comfort, safety, and overall experience. I’m a Dentist by profession, so I naturally pay close attention to health, hygiene, and small details. I bring those same values into every food tour I lead. Food, to me, is all about connection. It’s not just what’s on the plate, but the stories, laughter, and memories shared around it. Whether you’re an adventurous foodie or a little shy about trying new things, I’ll be there to guide you at your pace. I want you to feel relaxed and excited, never rushed or overwhelmed. More than a food tour host, I see myself as a friend-someone who will not only show you the best local spots but also share stories from my own life, my culture, and what makes Bangalore so special. Let’s enjoy good food, warm conversations, and a genuine connection-one delicious bite at a time.

Great Bangalore food experience with friendly guide
Title: A Delicious Day Exploring Bangalore I had an amazing food tour with Harshita in Bangalore. She was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and she made sure I had a safe and comfortable experience. We started at the iconic Central Tiffin Room, where the famous masala dosa absolutely lived up to its legendary reputation. We then explored Chickpet, where Harshita introduced me to the local culture and shopping scene. She patiently helped me bargain with vendors and made sure I got the best prices, which made the experience even more fun and authentic. We ended the tour at Mint Masala, where I got to try several Indian dishes I'd never had before. Every dish I tried was delicious, and I left with a much deeper appreciation for Bangalore's food culture. Harshita is more like a friend than a guide. She was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making the experience memorable. I couldn't recommend this tour more highly for anyone visiting Bangalore!

The guide was absolutely lovely, so kind and genuinely interested in making sure we had the best experience. She totally accommodated my food preferences and showed us around with such care and knowledge. I got to taste incredible food and understand the real culture behind it. Honestly, worth every penny. I wouldn't have discovered this side of Bangalore without her!

Best experience
Your guide. He was really nice. I don't eat much because I eat so little You have given me a lot of consideration. I was able to try places that I could not go alone, foods that I did not challenge, and how to eat. It was the height of happiness. See you. He took a lot of time out of the story. Trust is also deepened. We're taking a break. I enjoyed shopping slowly too! Thank you so much, so much, so much! He made the best of my Bangalore memories. Mr. Guide. Thank you very much.
Response from the operator: It was truly an honor to host you, your kind words mean so much to me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my passion for food with you during the tour. I’m genuinely delighted to hear that you enjoyed the experience so thoroughly. It brings me great happiness to know it was meaningful for you!

Food tour
My friends and I just finished an incredible food tour in Bangalore led by this amazing Dentist, whose warmth and patience made the experience unforgettable. She guided us through bustling lanes, adjusting every stop to our preferences and encouraging us to try dishes we’d never have found on our own. Her stories about the city’s culinary traditions added a rich layer of culture to every bite. We went home with satisfied appetites and the best memories. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bangalore, I’m already looking forward to booking another tour with her on my next trip to India! Highly recommended!

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Doctor led Bengaluru Food Tour Discover Authentic Local Cuisine: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangalore.
How much does Doctor led Bengaluru Food Tour Discover Authentic Local Cuisine cost?
+
Prices start at $92 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangalore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Doctor led Bengaluru Food Tour Discover Authentic Local Cuisine take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangalore is not rushed.
Is Doctor led Bengaluru Food Tour Discover Authentic Local Cuisine worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangalore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Doctor led Bengaluru Food Tour Discover Authentic Local Cuisine?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Doctor led Bengaluru Food Tour Discover Authentic Local Cuisine suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Doctor led Bengaluru Food Tour Discover Authentic Local Cuisine?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangalore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangalore and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Doctor led Bengaluru Food Tour Discover Authentic Local Cuisine start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangalore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangalore?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangalore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangalore city tour with English guide & multi language support, Mysore tour from Bangalore by tourism ministry approved company, Bangalore Through the Ages: Lalbagh, Temple & Market City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangalore?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangalore?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Doctor led Bengaluru Food Tour Discover Authentic Local Cuisine?
+
Included: Lunch. Not included: Private transportation. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Doctor led Bengaluru Food Tour Discover Authentic Local Cuisine?
+

+
