Place Massena
Recognizable by its red facades, its fountain of the sun and its black and white paving, Place Masséna is the meeting point of the Côte d'Azur in the heart of Nice. Its location marks the meeting point between Old Nice, the Promenade des Anglais and the beginning of rue Masséna, which is more commonly called "the pedestrian zone", as well as the beginning of the very commercial Avenue Jean Médecin.
Pass by without stopping
Garibaldi Square
Almost as famous as its neighbor Masséna, the oldest square in Nice is today a popular place to live for the Côte d'Azur, thanks to its location in the very trendy Port district and its many sunny restaurant terraces.
Pass by without stopping
Port Lympia
Located in the heart of the city, the port of Nice is made up of commercial and pleasure quays welcoming, among other things, the famous "pointus", these traditional colored boats drawing a real postcard landscape in the bottom of the Lympia basin, and the imposing but no less luxurious yachts.

Parc forestier du Mont-Boron
The Mont Boron Forest Park offers a getaway perched in the heart of nature. It is said that 400,000 years ago, it was the hunting ground of our prehistoric ancestors who at the time occupied the Terra-Amata cave, just at the foot of the hill. Today, it is a vast park of 57 hectares, frequented by hikers and families who come to enjoy its exceptional vegetation and its breathtaking panorama.

Fort Mont-Alban
Built in the 16th century, the Fort du Mont Alban originally served as the border between the states of Savoy and Nice. 40 meters by 46 meters wide, this imposing rectangular monument perched 222 meters above sea level bears witness to the city's historic military past and today offers a spectacular panorama over the entire Côte d'Azur, from the Italian Riviera at the Massif de l'Estérel.

Place Ile-de-Beaute
Having become over the years an essential place to live, the Place Île de Beauté has a remarkable architectural aestheticism whose neoclassical style fits perfectly into the port of Nice. Located a stone's throw from Place Garibaldi and the "Petit Marais Niçois", the port of Nice revolves around it and its famous Notre Dame Church (also called the Immaculate Conception Church). Popular with locals and holidaymakers, it is a real place to live where you like to meet up with friends, at one of the many bar terraces and restaurants that surround it.

Colline du Chateau
The Château de Nice is one of the historic monuments of the city regretted by all. Perched on the highest of the hills, only a few ruins remain today which testify to its importance in the heart of a huge green park overlooking the entire Baie des Anges. Having become a real place to live, there is a vast playground for children as well as refreshments and observation points allowing you to fully admire the roofs of old Nice below, the Promenade des Anglais and the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea. .
10 minutes here
Located at the foot of the Castle Hill, the Quai Rauba Capeu, which extends over only 300 meters in length, is the extension of the Promenade des Anglais and the Quai des Etats Unis. In Nice, its name means "flying hat" because its most advanced point in the sea is also where the wind circulates the most. It is certainly the most beautiful point of view of the whole city. From there, you can admire the Promenade des Anglais in its entirety, up to the airport landing strips. It is also in this perfectly chosen location that the giant hashtag "I Love Nice" was recently installed. With the Baie des Anges in the background, it is certainly the most photographed work of the city in recent years.

great tour; lovely guide
we were away for the weekend with my mum of 80 years old and this was an excellent tour to get to know the city in an hour and see a lot of the surroundings. I was surprised how far we got. It felt a bit more adventurous than a hop on hop off tour and like the fact the cars are electric. The guide was very knowledgable

Fun in the Sun
Our trip with Pasquale in his bright yellow electric car was great fun. He knew all the best places to see the best views of Nice, taking us high up a hill where no tour bus could go. On a warm Sunday morning it was a joy to be in his open car, enjoying what breeze there was. He was informative, funny and great to share our trip with.

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Discovery of the city of Nice by electric Méhari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nice.
How much does Discovery of the city of Nice by electric Méhari cost?
+
Prices start at $83 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Discovery of the city of Nice by electric Méhari take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nice is not rushed.
Is Discovery of the city of Nice by electric Méhari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Discovery of the city of Nice by electric Méhari?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Discovery of the city of Nice by electric Méhari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Discovery of the city of Nice by electric Méhari?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Discovery of the city of Nice by electric Méhari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nice?
+
On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
