About this experience
As twilight drapes Venice in golden hues and the crowds begin to thin, join us for an unforgettable evening walk that reveals the city’s most enchanting secrets. Our journey begins in the heart of Venice — the majestic Piazza San Marco, where the Basilica glows under the night sky and the Campanile casts its long shadow over the square. With stories of emperors, explorers, and masked intrigues, you’ll discover the layers of history hidden behind every column and arch. As we walk, the city’s vibrant spirit will unfold in unexpected ways: the echo of footsteps on cobblestones, the soft splash of water in the dark, the perfume of night jasmine in the air. Our path leads us gently to the Rialto, the oldest and most iconic of Venice’s bridges, where the Grand Canal shimmers with reflections of lanterns and gondolas. This isn’t just a tour — it’s a journey into the soul of Venice, seen through the eyes of those who love her most.

Very accommodating
Elisabetta was a great guide. The whisper devices were a huge help, I loved that I could drift a bit to take a quick photo but still hear what was said. She was very accommodating and stopped as the group needed, pointed out useful things like the good and bad atms to use. And was also of course very knowledgeable. I appreciated that she wanted to take us to less crowded, less touristy areas. I would definitely recommend her for any Venice tour!

Best Guide in Venice, for groups or individuals!
Elisabetta is the real deal! She is a wealth of information and has a fun and spirited delivery. Helpful tips and recommendations for out-of-the way spots away from tourists are her super-powers. Elisabetta is our go-to guide whenever we visit Venice with groups.

Great local Venetian tour guide
I can't recommend Elisabetta enough!!!! From the moment I contacted Elisabetta earlier in 2024 she was very helpful. Even keeping in contact before we arrived, with helpful tips. I was travelling with my two teenagers, she kept the tour personable, relevant and interesting tailoring the tour for us. It was lovely to have a local Venetian tour guide that could share her personal knowledge and experience. I would highly recommend Elisabetta to any first time visitors or for future visits and you want to explore something specific. She also met us at our hotel, which was refreshing when you are discovering a new destination. I did quite a bit of research into tours and guides and Elisabetta's name kept coming up, and I can see why she was great !! :-)

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Discover Venice at sunset: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.
How much does Discover Venice at sunset cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Discover Venice at sunset take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.
Is Discover Venice at sunset worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Discover Venice at sunset?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Discover Venice at sunset suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Discover Venice at sunset?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Discover Venice at sunset start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Venice?
+
On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Venice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Venice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
