Beautiful afternoon at the wildlife reserve

A beautiful afternoon at the wildlife reserve. They take good care of the animals kept in separate enclosures there. These animals were taken in for various reasons (kept as pets, shot, mother killed, etc.) and are given a relaxed life. Between the jeep rides, we also saw free-roaming animals like giraffes. The guide explained a lot and enjoyed his job.

Response from the operator: Hi Susanne, Thank you for your kind review of the N/a’an ku sê afternoon. We are glad the reserve, the rescue work, and the jeep drives came through clearly. It is good to hear that the care of the rescued animals stood out, and that you also saw free-roaming giraffe between the drives. We will pass your thanks to the guide. Guests often remember that mix of sanctuary work and wild Namibia, so we are pleased it made for a strong afternoon. Thank you for travelling with Chameleon Safaris. Kind regards, Gavin

    Incredible

This was a fabulous experience. We saw all the large cats close up. This is a sanctuary that has rescued all of its animals. The animals would have perished without their intervention.

We’re delighted to hear that your visit to Discover the Routes of N/a’an ku se was such a memorable one. Seeing the large cats up close is truly special, and we’re glad the sanctuary’s important conservation and rescue work resonated with you. As you mentioned, the animals there have been given a second chance thanks to the dedication and care of the team, and we’re proud to support and showcase this meaningful initiative. Thank you for joining us and for appreciating the purpose behind the experience. We hope it remains a highlight of your time in Namibia. Warm regards, Gavin

    Fantastic

Great destination, beautiful animals. The story of the Na'an Kuse is beautiful, really a socially positive enterprise. The tour guide was excellent also. Not far from Windhoek.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the great review, we hope to see you soon, this time for our multi-day Safaris around Namibia. Jordan-R.

    Great Afternoon.

Great experience. The shuttle bus was perfect to the sanctuary and picked me up in time. Once we arrived we were shortly onto the transport and started visiting the animals. The guide was very knowledgeable, and seeing the animals was wonderful. The Lions/Cheetahs/Leopard were stunning to pick the best out. A great afternoon.

Response from the operator: Awesome review Brian, thank you so much! We look forward to having you on one of our other Safaris next. Jordan-R.

Discover the Routes of N/a’an ku sê.: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Windhoek.

How much does Discover the Routes of N/a’an ku sê. cost?

    +

Prices start at $154 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Windhoek usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Discover the Routes of N/a’an ku sê. take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Windhoek is not rushed.

Is Discover the Routes of N/a’an ku sê. worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Windhoek, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Discover the Routes of N/a’an ku sê.?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Discover the Routes of N/a’an ku sê. suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Discover the Routes of N/a’an ku sê.?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Windhoek can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Windhoek and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Discover the Routes of N/a’an ku sê. start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Windhoek within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Windhoek?

    +

On Outty we rank every Windhoek experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Windhoek City Tour, Windhoek Historical City Tour Plus Township Tour !, Half-Day Windhoek City and Township Cultural Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Windhoek?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Windhoek?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
