The Perfect Way to Experience the Best of Rome in Just Three Hours!
We highly recommend the Private Tour of Rome’s Seven Hills by Tuk Tuk through The Tour Guy. To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, we spent 48-hours in Rome. This tour was the highlight and turned out to be the perfect way to experience much of the city in a short amount of time. Our driver and guide, Petro, was outstanding! He safely took us through Rome’s busy streets and side alleys, and had an uncanny knack for finding a parking spot for the Tuk Tuk in the most crowded areas. In just three hours, we were able to see the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the beautiful Basilica of Saint Sabina at the Aventine, and numerous other incredible sites throughout the city, something we never could have accomplished on our own in such a short visit. Petro was a wealth of knowledge and sharp wit, sharing stories about Rome’s history, architecture, culture, and daily life (like in traffic😁). One memorable narrative was hearing him detail the exploits of Il Marchese Onofrio Del Grillo while standing outside his residence. It really brought Rome to life in a way no guidebook ever could. Throughout the tour, Petro was very chatty, personable, and attentive, making sure we were comfortable while giving us plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, and fully enjoy the experience. His enthusiasm and storytelling made this much more than just a sightseeing tour. For anyone visiting Rome, especially if you have limited time and want an unforgettable overview of the city, we cannot recommend this experience enough. It was one of the highlights of our wedding anniversary trip! Grazie, Petro!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review and for choosing to celebrate your 35th wedding anniversary with us in Rome! ❤️ We are truly delighted to hear that the Seven Hills Tuk Tuk Tour became such a special highlight of your short stay in the city. Rome has so much to offer, and we’re so happy that Pietro helped make those 48 hours unforgettable. Your kind words about Pietro mean a lot to us. His passion for Rome, storytelling, humor, and ability to bring the city’s history to life are exactly what we hope every guest experiences during our tours. From the Trevi Fountain to the Aventine Hill and the stories of Marchese del Grillo, it’s wonderful to know those moments left such a lasting impression. We also loved hearing that the tour allowed you to comfortably experience so many iconic places in such a short time while still having the opportunity to stop, explore, and truly enjoy the atmosphere of Rome. Thank you again for your beautiful recommendation and for sharing such thoughtful details about your experience. We hope to welcome you back to Rome one day for another adventure and perhaps another anniversary celebration! 😊 Grazie mille from all of us — and especially from Pietro! The Rome To Get Team

A Wonderful Way to Tour Rome
We wholeheartedly recommend the Private Tour of Rome's Seven Hills by Tuk Tuk, reserved via The Tour Guy. Our Roma To Go driver and guide, Petro, did an excellent job driving us through the streets of Rome, visiting not only the seven hills within the ancient city walls but also Janiculum, known as the eighth hill of Rome, as well as a ride through Trastevere. He shared so much fascinating information about the unique and interesting sights around the city, some we were familiar with and had hoped to visit on this trip, but also many we had never heard of. Petro's stories of Roman history and modern Roman life were engaging and by turns entertaining, informative, or both. He was attentive, ensuring we were safe and comfortable, doing what he could to smooth out the ride as many of Rome's backstreets are pretty rough. Petro was also very flexible, arranging for our tour to end near the restaurant where we had planned to have dinner afterward. Grazie, Petro!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are truly delighted to hear that the Seven Hills Tuk Tuk tour was such a memorable experience for you. Petro will be thrilled to read your kind words—his passion for Rome, its history, and everyday life is exactly what we aim to share with all our guests. It’s especially rewarding to know that you enjoyed both the iconic landmarks and the hidden gems, as well as Petro’s flexibility and attention to your comfort throughout the ride—we know how lively Rome’s streets can be! Thank you again for choosing us and for your heartfelt recommendation. We hope to welcome you back to Rome for another unforgettable experience in the future. Warm regards

Seven hills of Rome a must do tour!
We had an amazing tour with our private tour guide! His knowledge of Rome and Roman history was extensive and was shared exuberantly! We saw things and learned much that we would not have experienced on a group tour!

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Discover the famous seven hills of Rome with the calessino bee: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does Discover the famous seven hills of Rome with the calessino bee cost?
+
Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Discover the famous seven hills of Rome with the calessino bee take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is Discover the famous seven hills of Rome with the calessino bee worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Discover the famous seven hills of Rome with the calessino bee?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Discover the famous seven hills of Rome with the calessino bee suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Discover the famous seven hills of Rome with the calessino bee?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Discover the famous seven hills of Rome with the calessino bee start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
