    About this experience

Turtles! Turtles! Turtles! We visit popular turtle-cleaning stations. What is a turtle-clean station? It says exactly what it says! Turtles visit these specific reefs to have smaller fish 'clean' their shells for them. It is almost like a turtle car wash! These turtle cleaning stations are a great spot to see a turtle while you scuba dive! Your instructors will guide you along two lively Hawaiian shallow reefs. As you glide along, soaking in the clear blue waters, your instructor will point out sea creatures big and small, like monk seals, turtles, dolphins, fish, nudibranch, and much more, as you continue your scuba tour. Scuba divers will see amazing colorful reef fish (many of which are endemic to Hawaii, meaning they can only be found in Hawaiian waters) and lovely coral.

    memorable experience

scuba diving in not for the weak.. i am the weak. i lasted maybe 5 minutes in the water before i said i can't i can't , the instructors were very nice and encouraging.. and when i couldn't do it , they offered me snorkeling and i laid on the back of their boat like a dead seal lmao . i'm happy for the experience, something i can look back n laugh at myself

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the 5-star review! 😄 We love your honesty, and we got a good laugh out of the your comment! Scuba diving definitely isn't for everyone, and we know it can feel overwhelming when you're trying something completely new. We're glad our crew was able to help you feel comfortable and still enjoy some time on the water by snorkeling and relaxing aboard the boat. The important thing is that you gave it a try and that's more than most people can say! Thank you for spending the day with us and for being such a good sport about the experience. We hope you'll come back and join us again. Mahalo for choosing Aaron's Dive Shop!

Excellent Dive Operation from Beginner to Advanced

We have gone diving with Aaron’s for over 9 years now. It’s an excellent run, safe and exciting way to spend some time on island. We have done everything from discover scuba to Advanced Open Water certification. Every staff member has been awesome including Garrett (the Captain), and instructors Ken, Francesca and Brian.

Best experience with patient, knowledgeable and friendly instructor and captain - highly recommend!

Had such a fun time trying out scuba with Aaron’s dive shop! I love snorkeling and decided to give scuba a try before fully committing to get certified - highly recommend the Discover scuba experience! Crew was professional and small group allowed more personal attention and comfortable learning environment. Totally made my day/trip - was birthday gift and one I’ll never forget - planning to get certified now! Thanks so much to crew for your patience and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend Aaron’s dive shop! 🤿🤙

Discover Scuba Diving in Hawaii - Non certified divers!: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.

How much does Discover Scuba Diving in Hawaii - Non certified divers! cost?

    +

Prices start at $238 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Discover Scuba Diving in Hawaii - Non certified divers! take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.

Is Discover Scuba Diving in Hawaii - Non certified divers! worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Discover Scuba Diving in Hawaii - Non certified divers!?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Discover Scuba Diving in Hawaii - Non certified divers! suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Discover Scuba Diving in Hawaii - Non certified divers!?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Discover Scuba Diving in Hawaii - Non certified divers! start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Oahu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Oahu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Oahu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
