Mykonos tour
Fantastic tour and an excellent way to see the best of Mykonos! Our driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The car was clean, modern, and very comfortable. We visited all the main highlights as well as some beautiful hidden spots. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mykonos!
Response from the operator: We thank you for your review and wish to see you soon again in Mykonos.

Great way to see the island and walk the town in 1 day.
Spartak was an amazing guide. He drove us around while chatting and sharing history, fun facts, and stories. He let us customize the trip. It was an efficient way to see the island and still have time to see the town before returning to cruise ship. He picked up right at the port. Super easy.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It was truly a pleasure meeting you and showing you around the island. I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that the flexibility, stories, and local history made the experience special for you. Thank you in return for being such wonderful guests—I enjoyed our time together just as much. Wishing you safe travels and many more great adventures ahead!

Our May 16, 2026 tour
I enjoyed the light house the most probably. We had a nice guide and it was great that he picked us up, where we were staying, however I guess that was because we paid a lot of money and it ended up being a private tour just for two. He was very informative and helpful, although some of the places we stopped didn't seem so special. Like a very small dinky church, and a beach which wasn't particularly special. We'd explored some windmills the day before our tour. He took us to see only 1 or 2 wibdmills up close and they weren't as impressive as what we saw on our own. I was pretty happy with the area where he dropped us off for lunch.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we are pleased to hear that you found your guide informative and appreciated the convenience of being picked up directly from your accommodation, we regret that we were unable to provide you with an overall experience that fully met your expectations. We would like to clarify that this is a private tour by design and is never shared with other guests, allowing for a more personalized experience. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are also included as part of the tour. Regarding the churches, chapels, beaches, and other stops, we appreciate your opinion. Mykonos is known primarily for its traditional Cycladic architecture, picturesque chapels, windmills, scenic viewpoints, beaches, and local culture rather than major historical or archaeological attractions. Guests looking for archaeological sites typically visit Delos, which is a separate island accessible by boat. Every traveler experiences Mykonos differently, and while some visitors particularly enjoy the island's iconic chapels and windmills, others prefer the panoramic views, beaches, or the lighthouse. We carefully review all guest feedback and continuously evaluate our tours to ensure we provide the best possible experience. Comments such as yours help us assess our itinerary and make adjustments where appropriate to better reflect our guests' interests and expectations. Thank you again for selecting our tour and for sharing your experience.

Top notch Mykonos tour
We visited Mykonos at the beginning of May (as we were told that it is the best time to see the island at its best with nearly no tourists spoiling the scenery) and had 2 days to explore the island. After checking the reviews we booked the Half-Day Private Tour: Discover Mykonos and I must say it was the best choice we could make. A spotless luxury Mercedes MiniVan picked us up from the hotel and the driver took us in all the must see places (and in some hidden gems as he called them - my top spot was Agios Lazaros where you could see Psarou Beach, Paragka and Platys Gialos Beach panoramicaly). He was kind enough to stop any time we asked to get of the car and take photos. Highly recommend this tour to anyone having only a couple of days in Mykonos and wanting to see as much as possible.
Response from the operator: We highly appreciate your detailed review and we happy we were able to customize the tour according to your preferences. Nothing matters more to us than shaping a personalized tour that gives you the absolute best, most meaningful experience of our island.

Would return any time.
Marco was very friendly and knowledgeable, he was more than willing to stop wherever and whenever we wished to take pics. We invited him to join us for lunch as he was so personable. Highly recommend using Marco as your travel expert in Mykonos
Response from the operator: We cant thank you enough for everything. Thank you for your review and for inviting me to lunch. It was a pleasure sharing that day (and lunch!) with you. Safe travels, and hope to see you again!

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Discover Mykonos: Private Half-Day Island Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Discover Mykonos: Private Half-Day Island Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Discover Mykonos: Private Half-Day Island Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Discover Mykonos: Private Half-Day Island Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 41 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Discover Mykonos: Private Half-Day Island Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Discover Mykonos: Private Half-Day Island Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Discover Mykonos: Private Half-Day Island Tour?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Discover Mykonos: Private Half-Day Island Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
