   The Melbourne Museum is a natural and cultural history museum located in the Carlton Gardens in Melbourne, Australia. 3. St. Patrick's Cathedral

   The Cathedral Church and Minor Basilica of Saint Patrick is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia, and seat of its archbishop, currently Peter Comensoli. In 1974 Pope Paul VI conferred the title and dignity of minor basilica on it.

4. Cooks' Cottage

   Cooks' Cottage, also known as Captain Cook's Cottage,[7] is located in the Fitzroy Gardens, Melbourne, Australia. The cottage was constructed in 1755 in the English village of Great Ayton, North Yorkshire, by the parents of Captain James Cook, James and Grace Cook, and was brought to Melbourne in 1934 by the Australian philanthropist Sir Russell Grimwade. It is a point of conjecture among historians whether James Cook, the famous navigator, ever lived in the house, but almost certainly he visited his parents at the house.

6. Shrine of Remembrance

   The Shrine of Remembrance is a war memorial in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in Kings Domain on St Kilda Road. It was built to honour the men and women of Victoria who served in World War I, but now functions as a memorial to all Australians who have served in any war.

7. Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park

   Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park is a 25-acre (10 ha) biopark within the Pearcedale Conservation Park located at Pearcedale on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne, Australia. It aims to display the fauna that was found in the Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Biosphere Reserve prior to European settlement as well as working towards the recovery of threatened Australian fauna.

8. Cowes Beach

   The only northern facing beaches in Victoria, the Cowes Main Beaches are ideal for swimming and summer fun. These golden, sheltered, sandy beaches in Cowes are located in Westernport Bay with low winds and gentle waves, making them a popular choice for families. The beaches at high tide offer excellent swimming, and have an abundance of shallow rocks and tidal flats to explore at low tide. The jetty is perfect for fishing and is the departure point for several ferries. You'll also find the Cowes Yacht Club west of Mussel Rocks.

9. The Nobbies

   The Nobbies is an incredibly important site for Australia’s largest colony of Fur Seals. These cobblestone rocks that jut out of the water are a dramatic strip of land attached to the Phillip Island coastline. At the Nobbies Visitor Centre boardwalk that leads out to the lookout, keep an eye out for the penguins who nest underneath the boardwalk.

10. Penguin Parade

    Watch little penguins dash home across the sand at dusk at Phillip Island Nature Parks' Penguin Parade. Explore boardwalks after dark to see, smell and hear these penguins in the colony, greeting neighbours, partners and their chicks. While you wander, keep an eye out for resident wildlife including swamp wallabies, Eastern barred bandicoots, Cape Barren geese and short-tailed shearwaters.
